I was told that the ladder on the boat was an item that breaks a lot and that I should really get their insurance in case I break it. I declined again saying that we will make sure not to break the ladder. After the boat had been dropped off after use, a few staff members were whispering and pointing during the after-rental checks. I asked what the issue was, and they tried to explain that I broke the ladder and it will cost me $1000. I told them I made sure the ladder was up before driving and that we did nothing to break it and they continued whispering and pointing but ultimately decided that "the pictures they took were wrong" and that I did not break the ladder. (pretty sure they would have scammed me for breaking this ladder if I had not been watching them during the checks). This whole experience is a shame because everything else about the rental was exceptional. The boat was very nice, timely customer service and very helpful staff.

He was very polite and offered to wait for my ride to get there before leaving. The second time I was rear ended. I called expecting it to be at least a week before they could get me but they got me in the next day and was finished by the afternoon. You could not tell my car had ever been hit. It looked great! The last time I used them was for a towing service. Again they were very quick to arrive and it was in the middle of a snow storm! Always use heartland they are awesome! Great staff and great work!

They squeezed me in to try to see if they could spot the issue without taking anything apart (as they wouldn't have time to put it back together before they closed) and check if it was safe to drive because I am not from town. They were completely honest when they told me they didn't know what was wrong but also what things they knew were working. And they didn't even charge me any service fee for looking at it! Truly wonderful service and kind people.

On my way from IL to CA, I stopped at the local Casey's with a completely shredded tire on my 5th…read morewheel. Googled tire repair and Midwest tire popped up. It was around 5:00 PM but they answered the phone. I explained where I was And what happened. He checked to see if he had the correct tire in stock and he did. Said I needed someone to come take the tire off, return to the tire shop, put the new tire on my rim, and then return to get it back on the 5th wheel. Manager said that would be $30 extra--very reasonable. He asked how I would pay. I answered check, cc, or cash. About this time a huge tstorm started raining buckets of rain but a few minutes later the tech pulled up next to me. I told the tech I wasn't in that big of a hurry if he wanted to wait until the storm let up some. He said not to worry, he'd get it. Within 30 minutes, he was back with the new tire and had it on and requested a check for payment. Yes they took an out of state check without even looking at my ID. I gave the guy an extra $20 and was on my way in less than an hour from when I first arrived. Keep in mind it was raining like a cow peeing on a flat rock the entire time. Fantastic service and very reasonable cost. Thank you Midwest Tire!
