Do not go here. My daughter has had a spacer in her mouth for less than a year (placed by them) and she's supposed to have it for many years to come. The cement on the spacer came off and they wanted to charge a ridiculous amount to fix their own mistake. Not to mention she has already had multiple major gum infections from said spacer. There's also no transparency in billing. You will pay for something "completely" and check and double check with them.. and somehow another bill will arrive. read more

First pediatric appointment completed at 19 months. How'd it go? Just as you would expect. Tears, screaming, kicking and more screaming. The setup they have due to covid is wonderfully organized. You have to arrive 15 mins early and stay in your car till the previous patient is not in the same area as you. They scan you for your temperature upon entry. Sad part was that only one parent was allowed. I'm sure it was for the better cause I was already riddled with fear. Thankfully the staff and dentist was kind enough to let me FaceTime while I sat outside. The staff was kind enough to walk my husband through the steps, provide information on dental hygiene at our daughters age and get them setup in a room for the dentist to arrive. Dr. Bryan was our dentist. He was super friendly to introduce himself to my husband and me over the phone haha. Answered all our questions and really took the time to talk to us. He checked our daughters teeth and also did a quick clean. He is strong cause our girl is a fighter haha. He was able to hold her down in a way that wasn't painful or scary as a parent. I'm definitely the type to be like "uhm no, stop please." But she was in good hands. At the end, she got a sample toothbrush, toothpaste and a little toy for her bravery. As a parent, it can be very nerve racking going to any doctors appointment because you worry about your baby. But I'm soooo happy I chose West Metro Pediatric Dentist. I feel at ease and I know next time I won't be as worried about taking my daughter in by myself haha read more

We had a wonderful experience with Brandi and Dr Bryan. I had been talking my kids up for this appointment all week, knowing that most people think the dentist is a little scary. Their office is clean and well decorated and is a far cry from the dentists offices my mom used to work for. I am so happy we found this location. It's close by for those who live in Leyden and Candelas. They offer dentistry and orthodontics so we are very happy to have a place our kids can grow with. Each chair has a tv with headphones, Dr Bryan is amazing with toddlers and the team was able to get us in an out in under and hour for 2 kids. I am not someone to make my next appointment 6 months down the road, but the ease of doing it while still in the room with my kids with the hygienist was a nice touch. My son has told everyone he has seen for 2 days about how awesome it was. read more

My visit today with my 7 year old son left much to be desired. My advise upon reading this would be that if your child requires any outside of the box care, this is not the place for you. I felt that my sons few, yet vital sensory issues were not recognized or accommodate for. Not much worse than hearing your child advocate for themselves to no avail, knowing you personally have addressed the issues yourself. Unacceptable .Not going back. An additional note would be the feelings of disharmony amongst the female staff. read more

The doctors at west metro make sure both kids and parents are comfortable and informed. Our eldest has some cavities and they spent 45 minutes explaining the options and costs that they could offer. We appreciate the clarity of cost. Their explanation of our options helped us select the best procedure for our son's needs. We are very happy with the service they provide. read more

We've been taking our daughter here since a bit after her first birthday. I like the office and the staff, and my daughter loves the waiting room! The hygienists are patient and very good with kids. They really take their time with the kids. At her 2 year old appt, my daughter was a bit nervous, and the hygienist spent a lot of time talking to her and playing with her to make her feel comfortable. She got my daughter to do things I never thought she would do (like rub the electric toothbrush on her face). She didn't rush or force my daughter into anything. The dentists are both very friendly and warm, and they obviously also know how to work with kids. And an added bonus for us- they're a couple miles from our house! read more

My daughter has been to the dentist twice before (she is 2.5) but I decided to make the switch closer to home. So glad I did. Heather and Dr L were great with my daughter. I brought our daughter here because it had good reviews, and I'm glad that we did. She is only 2, and so it was a bit traumatic. But the staff was great and did everything that they could to make her comfortable. They didn't make her do anything for very long that really made her upset. My 3 girls had a fantastic visit yesterday. To be honest I had not considered a pediatric dentist before and oldest daughter simply saw the family dentist. When we adopted the twins and our pediatrician recommended your office we decided to bring all the kids there. Our experience, from scheduling through the visit has been outstanding, every time. The staff is so friendly and patient and the office setup makes it fun for them (dentist, fun????) My littlest one has a very hard time at these types of appointments and the dental assistant took the extra time to go at her pace and make sure she had a good experience. Not only will my kids come there as long as we live in the area, but I will recommend your practice to others. read more

The doctors take lots of time to explain things to the parents and kids, and focus on long term health and preventative care. My 7-year-old son has been an anxious dental patient his whole life. Given that he has a bad under bite and will soon be needing extensive orthodontia, I felt it was vital to make the switch from I family practitioner to a pediatric dentist--especially when we found out he needed multiple cavities filled. I need to ensure During our first visit, for a consultation exam, the staff noted my son's anxiety level and were great about walking me through the potential steps we would need to take--up to and including general anesthesia if that became necessary. I love that the Dr. is licensed to do all levels of sedation as I think seeing the same person helps build trust for my son. As it turns out, we were able to get his procedures done with just the laughing gas. I fully credit Dr. Bryan and his team with making that happen. They knew how to work with my son and were able to get him to relax (after a rough first few minutes). By the time the shot was administered my son did not even tense up. I cannot say the same for myself :-). The office is a great environment for kids and the staff are incredible with children and their parents. read more

We have been seeing Dr. Bryan for a year now, since my daughter turned 2. Her comfort level has definitely gone up since first coming in and I'm bringing in my younger daughter for her first visit when she turns 1. They do a great job of explaining what they are doing and using toy animals to make kids feel comfortable. Most importantly, during our first visit Dr. Bryan directed us to the ear, nose throat doctor as he noticed our daughters breathing was impaired by large tonsils. Several weeks after our dental appt, she had a tonsillectomy and adnoidectomy, with the report her airway was 90% blocked. Better sleep and happier kiddo! I'm glad Dr. Bryan not only looks out for dental health, but overall health as well! read more

My low rating has nothing to do with the dentists, based on all other ratings I'm sure they are fantastic. My rating is solely based on the receptionist who answered my call. I called April 11, 2016 to ask a simple insurance question. My question was if they excepted Medicaid insurance. She chuckled and answered No they do not, and hurried me off the phone. That is fine no harm in looking for another dentist. It should be fairly easy to find another dentist that does. However we are two working parents of a family of 5 and do not appreciate her smug tone or attitude. I hung up the phone very upset feeling embarrassed and belittled. I do hope this is addressed at West Metro Pediatric Arvada. I do not wish for this woman to be in trouble or fired. I just hope in the future she treats everyone equally. I took my 16 month old here for her first visit. I was tentative thinking it might be a huge disaster but it was a breeze. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. My kids actually love to go see the dentist, thanks to the great atmosphere (games, movies, music) and great staff especially Dr. Bryan. They are very friendly and do an excellent job making my kids feel comfortable. They think it's fun, instead of a dreaded chore, which is so nice although unusual for a dentist visit. This was my first visit with my 7 year old daughter to this place and I would never recommend this place to anyone.My experience was totally frustating.The staff was totally rude and not at all helpful.I end up paying up all the procedure cost out of my pocket inspite of them taking all my insurance information in advance over phone and confirming that day in person prior to our appointment that everything is being covered.After being 1 hour into the appointment ,one of the staff member came and interrupted and told that "we don't accept your plan and you will have to pay all yourself before leaving ".That very moment everyone left including the doctor and no one was courteous enough to listen to us.Certainly , human element is missing altogether at this place. We paid all cost before leaving and requested them to atleast give us the X-ray reports and what they think is required to be done but still after a month no one bothered to send anything.After coming back we contacted our Insurance provider and got to know that around 8.30 am the morning we went for appointment the office was told that insurance will not be covering anything. But the staff withheld the information and told us the same around 9.00 am when everything was almost done. read more

This is a no-nonsense, get-'er-done kind of dentist. They like to hold to their timeframes, be efficient and effective. So if you are a busy professional, and just want to get in and out, this may be the place for you. They have all the bells and whistles, ie, movies, video games, and treats for the kids. But you'll be pressed to see a smile - even amongst staff working together. If you have questions, you may be interrupted by staff trying to move the conversation along, or asked to reschedule your treatment if your questions of the professionals 'delayed treatment begin.' The dentist draws on a gentler demeanor while in the presence of children, tho' I wouldn't call it warm nor cheery. We're here for now, though as soon as our patients are a bit older, we'll be moving on, as we're not stacking up experiences we'd dub health *care* here.
