I am so happy to find this vet clinic! Wonderful staff, carrying vet! I'm so amazed by Dr. Kim!!! Never had such a carrying and kind doctor, her exams are not just basic check-ups, she checks literally EVERYTHING before come up with a treatment plan. Also, she gives great explanations about the treatment! We showed up to the clinic with my pup having a skin infection for a while which was taken care of the same day, no more each skin, wounds slowly disappearing:) The prices are reasonable. So far the best clinic we've ever been to for 9 years of my pup's life!!! Thank you guys for keeping our loved ones healthy:)

Me and our furry little children have been coming here for about two years. The doctors are great and I like the way they were on the office. Going to the vet is never a cheap episode but it's definitely something you've got to do to keep your pets in good shape. I highly recommend this veterinary clinic and have never had any problems. And one of my dogs they did major dental work and they treated us fairly. The bottom line is I Highly recommend the West L A Veterinary group

I have been very happy I moved my yorkie to be a patient of DR Quezada. Not only is she very knowledgeable, she helped me uncover my dogs dental abscesses and a heart murmur. I do not think my other veterinarians were taking x rays so I had no idea! Also there's a new heart medicine that will delay the onset of congestive heart failure that I would not have had if it weren't for Dr. Quezada who recommended a cardiologist. She also Cares and asks how everything is going every time we see her in the waiting room when getting the cytopoint allergy injections. Thank you Dr Quezada for being so amazing!

This review is well overdue, to me this place is a dream come true. It's simple, if you want a partnership, a doctor that really cares and is available, I suggest running, not walking, to West LA Veterinary Group. I found them after a terrible experience elswhere and am in love with how attentive they are. I have a puppy and have been so flustered with the do's and dont's. I just wanted a place with a smart doctor where I could get all my questions answered. Instead, I have a place that did that when I visited, but they also remember every little detail about my pup and home situation when issuing advice. I have a doctor that calls me, even if it's after office hours, to report back on lab results to give me her expert insight. I have a tech that walks around like he's always just heard a great joke and is excited to share it, and an office team that handles non-stop calls all while handling my non-stop chatter. Please visit this place. I know every experience is unique because every day is different, but I have had consistent compassion and accommodation from this team, so I'm confident they won't let you down.

Miss Pearl recovering comfortably. Dr. Quezada and her team are the best!

We kept coming back for the convenient location--until today. I arrived 15 minutes early for my dog's 2:30 PM appointment. At check-in, the front desk (Crystal) asked me to prepay, which was new to me. When I asked what services were included, she said only vaccines. I had previously requested microchipping a week ago, but that wasn't noted. She mentioned a 3 PM cancellation slot, but I told her to hold off since I couldn't stay much longer. After waiting over an hour, I asked a different tech about the delay. Then Crystal blurted she had moved my appointment to 3 PM to include all services--something she NEVER communicated; which I pointed out to her, I asked to speak with a supervisor and continued waiting. We were finally taken to a room, and 15 minutes later (total of 1hr 15min LATER) , the doctor entered and accused *ME* of being disrespectful to her staff--which is completely FALSE. I believe the front staff member BLATANTLY LIED to cover her own condescending and unprofessional behavior. I was upfront with the doctor and encouraged her to review the cameras. As a business owner myself, I know you never put a customer on the defensive--especially when your feelings are hurt because someone called out poor service. That's a training issue, not mine. This experience was not only upsetting but also makes me question how much the doctors enable their staff's mediocrity. The lack of communication, professionalism, and customer service is evident from the moment you walk in. I stand by my word: !!! review the cameras!!! I was never disrespectful--not once.

I love that there's plenty of parking at the building where this location is at and the first hour is free with validation. I've never had issues when checking in, nor with any of the doctors or vet techs. Most recently was my second visit. I came by a little early and checked in. About 5 minutes after, a gentleman walked to the front door and was asking for help. He had a really sick dog and the tech and/or doctor were quick to come out and take control. Damn, just the whole scene was emotional. My wait time ended up being a little longer, which I completely understand there was an emergency going on. The techs were on it and made sure I was OK by checking in with me every so often. I'm not sure what had happened with that dog, but one of the techs eventually came out and started sanitizing the floors and the seat where the owner was waiting at. I'm happy they took extra precaution and making sure other animals don't get in contact with what the dog had. The poor baby came in and left a trail of drool, which was what was cleaned up. I eventually met with Dr. Harrington. She has a kind soul and was very gentle with my girl. I would come back to this location over and over again if time permits.

The majority of the staff is friendly and welcoming but my biggest pet peeve are places that dont answer their phones, the hold times are exorbitantly long (often over forty minutes. Understandable given the high influx but perhaps more staffing should be hired solely for phones), and it was quicker to show up in person without an appointment than having one. I often made an appointment but it seemed useless when I was left sitting in the waiting area for two to three hours on multiple occasions because the receptionist admitted to forgetting I was there or the medical assistants overlooked me. To their credit they were apologetic but in the moment when you're worried about your pet, waiting endlessly without any information or a reasonable amount of time doesnt make it any easier. There were also times when I was told I'd be contacted when my pet was ready for pickup but when the call never came I had to just show up and hope she was ready by the time they closed. My pet is also a recent shelter animal rescue and I felt like one of the doctors implied that my family was the reason for a scratch she had on her tummy that she would occasionally scratch at so that it wouldn't scab over and heal. I understand the vets concern for my dog and appreciate it to ane extent but even after I explained that she was a recent rescue and that her scratches were one of the reasons we'd brought her in along with her benign fatty tissues, he was a lot more curt and a little standoffish with us. Again I understand he was just concerned but I also sort of wish I'd been given the benefit of the doubt. If I really needed to, I'd come back here again but after a few of the mishaps mentioned above, I did seek out a different vet clinic that was a lot more organized and welcoming and also offered the same payment plans as this one.

The lobby and patient rooms smell fresh and clean in a very neutral way, without smelling either like animals or like too much cleaning product - comfortable for both animals and humans. There is typically plenty of parking during business hours, with a relatively quiet parking lot, so you can easily wait with your pet in the indoor seating or outside. Typically not crowded indoors, so if you have a scared or reactive pet, there is plenty of space in the large lobby / reception area to sit with your animal companion without them being too close to other patients. The pet scale in the reception area is flush with the floor, and because it's in the lobby, you can assist with your animal being weighed before they head into the back area with the staff - this is very helpful for scared and energetic pets who may need help sitting still. The staff are terrifically kind and helpful to both animals and humans. They are patient, they listen to your requests and feedback and help process your stress around a sick or injured animal. The doctors are skilled and thorough, and will help you through the complicated processes to make the best decisions for your animals. Payment and procedures are explained in advance with clear language and paper (and/or digital) estimates outlining cost and potential emergent medical choices. Reasonable prices. Ask about vaccine discount days! Best of all - they don't have an "emergency" fee for same-day or walk-in appointments! Even so, it's smart to call ahead if requesting a same-day appointment so you won't be waiting long with your stressed pet. Honestly, my dog loves the staff here.

He wasn't eating, was sleeping excessively, had severe dental pain, and even started having bloody diarrhea. As any pet parent can imagine, I was terrified. From the moment we arrived, Dr. Park and the entire staff treated Rufus with compassion, urgency, and genuine care. They took the time to thoroughly examine him, explain everything clearly, and answer all of my questions without making me feel rushed or pressured. What impressed me most was their honesty and integrity. They focused on what Rufus actually needed rather than recommending unnecessary tests or treatments. After speaking with other hospitals, I truly believe the cost elsewhere could have easily been several times higher. Bewell provided exceptional care at a fair price, which is rare to find these days. Most importantly, they treated Rufus like he was their own pet. That level of kindness and compassion meant the world to me during such a stressful time. To Dr. Park and the entire team: thank you for taking such amazing care of my baby. You turned one of the scariest days into one filled with hope and reassurance. If you're looking for a veterinarian who is knowledgeable, trustworthy, compassionate, and truly puts animals first, I cannot recommend Bewell Animal Hospital highly enough.

My brother in law had recently moved to Canada, and his dog fell sick while still in the U.S. I was trying to figure out how to get the dog safely to Canada given his medical condition, and I called several clinics for guidance. Most places required an appointment just to answer basic questions, which made the situation even more stressful. Dr. Nassi was kind enough to explain that if we were driving the dog to Canada, we did not need a medical certificate, which meant we did not have to wait for an appointment or go through a lengthy certification process. The clinic also reviewed and validated the rabies certificate over email without charging us. As someone who does not own a dog and was trying to handle this on behalf of my brother in law, I was feeling very overwhelmed. Dr. Nassi really helped us understand the right path forward and made it possible for us to get the dog back to his owner. I am extremely thankful for the kindness and support we received.
