Instead of receiving compassion and immediate protection, the student was met with skepticism and a dismissive attitude from administration. (Dr F ) To make matters worse, the school allowed a mosh pit on the dance floor -- a completely unsafe and irresponsible choice at a school event. This created a chaotic environment where serious incidents could (and did) occur. A school's first priority should be the safety and well-being of its students. In this case, the lack of empathy, poor response, and failure to provide a safe environment showed me that this administration needs serious training and accountability. We were here watching a Wrestling Program. All the kids did a great job. I was attempting to sit in…read morethe gym bleachers to watch the wrestling match. The bleachers don't have handrails. The steps are extremely deep, more so than most steps. I just couldn't get up on the step to sit in the bleachers. A very nice wrestling student from Etiwanda High School and my husband helped me up. Everyone was very nice there however, I heard other wrestling watchers complaining about the steps with no handrails and how deep the steps are.

The schools want to tell the kids to correct actions without telling who the people are. If someone is masking what they're feeling and has someone thinking things are good how would you know what to do or how to handle situations. It makes absolutely no sense to me the way schools are required to handle situations. If students have problems with each other, it shouldn't be secretive.
