Now they're in court, and the attorney has filed an affirmative defense, which, in plain terms, means even if they're not denying it happened -- they're blaming children as young as 3 and 4 years old. This is beyond disturbing. Google is now hiding reviews of the school, but I've reposted the one I made last year right here. Even more concerning: the school is now requiring only Black children to check in -- this is discriminatory, period. My wife and I raised concerns about their cultural insensitivity long ago, and their "solution" was to paint a mural. So if the mural is still up, credit to my wife -- but a mural doesn't fix systemic neglect. I'm sharing this to spread awareness. To the families affected by this: I am deeply sorry. The way St. Mary's teaches core concepts--multiplication, division, addition, subtraction, science, and language--has given my child an incredibly strong foundation.
