They did a good job trying to minimize the damage as much as possible. The damage that was made was promptly fixed. This is the third time we've had them come to the home. I'm writing a review for this particular service call since it was larger than the last service call (thermostat installs). BQ - if you see this - be prepared, I will call you for lighting updates on the outside of the house this time :)

Electricians Vinny and Anthony were personable and answered all our questions. When unexpected issues came up, they presented us with a range of options and didn't pressure us into having any additional work done. Estimates are done via computer software, so you can expect consistency in pricing - they're not just making up numbers as they go along. Overall, I found them professional, knowledgeable, and reliable and would use them again. Electrical work isn't cheap - especially on Long Island - but I think we made out OK given the quality of the work and the amount of time they spent on the job.

My call was answered in a matter of minutes, I explain the emergency and was quoted for their services. The electrician came in his marked van about twenty minutes and spent thirty five minutes maximum at the house and restored power. He traced and changed the wires that caused the short circuit. He was knowledgeable, experienced and professional just like my husband and I expected him to be. He was courteous, addressed us with respect and took his time to explain what the problems were. We didn't have our own electrician, because we never had an electrical emergency before and were nervous at our prospects of finding on a Sunday evening an honest contractor who wouldn't overcharge us . Now we are making this company our own contractors. We are giving Corkrey Electric Services a well deserved five stars for also restoring our heat in the house.
