I want to take a moment to recognize Shakela for the wonderful customer service she provided to me…read moretoday. She answered all of my questions regarding my daughter's glasses and took the time to help me understand my insurance and appointment scheduling. She made me feel very welcome and comfortable, and I truly appreciated her patience. I had several questions and concerns because I wasn't familiar with how everything worked, but Shakela never made me feel like I was bothering her or asking too many questions. She was kind, patient, professional, and genuinely willing to help. It is such a great feeling to call a place and receive this level of customer service. Shakela made my experience so much easier, and I am truly grateful for her assistance. I will definitely be referring this location to my coworkers and friends at Fort Benning, where I work, as well as to my family. Thank you, Shakela, for making my experience such a positive one!

My husband called to schedule an exam for watery eyes. After booking online, the receptionist…read morecalled to tell him not to come if he was experiencing symptoms that could possibly be pink eye (conjunctivitis) which doesn't make sense because that wasn't his issue and there's no way he could've been diagnosed over the phone. He kept the appointment and the doctor that saw him, although friendly told him that he was boring because nothing was wrong with him at all. Didn't recommend any eyes drops for dry eye or anything. Finally an eyeglass prescription was written at the end of the visit with his name misspelled. He purchased a pair of glasses and the next day had to go to the ER where he was diagnosed with Bell's Palsy. How, if doing a thorough eye exam do you miss that when given the symptoms and presentation but chat GPT was able to tell him to go to the ER. I know the market is suffering but you shouldn't place more emphasis on getting a sale than actually caring for your patient. Please do better. He could've been diagnosed and treated sooner if you would've paid closer attention to him As a person and a patient.

This practice is fantastic. The staff are all pleasant and professional. Dr. C is a very nice man. He really listens, is direct, describes his diagnoses impeccably, as well as his plan for treatment and what to expect. He is no nonsense, while being kind and considerate. This was the first time my wife has ever had a doctor phone her the day after a procedure to check on her. Mookie is also a gem. Every person in this building is wonderful. Each of them seemed pleased that we chose their facility and made us feel comfortable and welcome. Bob and Betsy Papak

I rarely leave reviews, but this experience warrants it…read more I am a Registered Nurse with over 10 years of experience, and I chose North Columbus Eye Center for LASIK after a reassuring consultation with Dr. Ceravolo. I have significant procedural anxiety and made that very clear ahead of time. Unfortunately, the experience during the procedure itself was completely different. While my eye was held open under the laser, Dr. Ceravolo made multiple comments that indicated confusion, including statements like, "Did I press the wrong button?" and "What did I just do?" As a patient, hearing that in the middle of a procedure involving my eye was extremely distressing. When I asked if everything was okay, I was met with an aggressive "it will be if you would just hold your eye open and look at the laser". From that point forward, his demeanor became increasingly frustrated and aggressive, with repeated sharp instructions directed at me despite my clear anxiety and efforts to comply. Following the procedure, he performed a very brief exam, and left without any reassurance or communication. I left feeling distressed and at fault. At my follow-up appointment the tech immediately acknowledged awareness of my case and apologized for Dr. Ceravolo's behavior, indicating that it had been discussed among staff and that this conduct was not out of character. Additionally, while waiting in the exam room, I overheard Dr. Ceravolo having a personal conversation about coworkers DIRECTLY outside my door. The remarks included staff speaking negatively about coworkers, references to a hostile work dynamic, Dr Ceravolo saying the other doctor in his office "doesn't want to go to jail and can't afford divorce" and a statement about someone "going full Russian" on another individual. Additionally, there was a lapse in my post-operative care instructions. This experience was not only distressing but fell significantly below the standard of care and professionalism expected in a surgical setting. I have never encountered this level of unprofessional conduct from a provider. I emailed them and received a message stating that "Dr Ceravolo is very professional and if you'd like to speak with him he's more than willing". If this review helps even ONE person go to West Georgia Eye instead of North Columbus Eye I've done my job.
