The rates here are a little more expensive than at Highland Marina but you get what you pay for. The drive is also a little further, I think it's the first exit for AL if you are driving from Atlanta on 85 South. View the pics of the cabin. We only spent 4 hours in the cabin. But it was much nicer to me than Highland. More modern and spacious as well. I didn't like that I couldn't wake off the deck to the back yard. But the bigger cabins allow you to do so. The good thing was that every cabin allows you direct access to the lake. And yes, you can see the deer playing around first thing in the morning. Please note that the office closes early like 4 (call to ask) in the afternoon. The office is also a store, they have a few snacks, NO COFFEE bring your own if you need it in the morning. They do provide a coffee pot in the cabins. The store has bait, fishing essentials and the usual items (tooth paste, soap, foil) that is typically found in mom and pop type stores on the lake. There are upwards of 20 cabins ranging from 1 - 3 bedrooms. I loved #20. 3 bedrooms a deck that allowed you to walk from the kitchen to the lake. But I should warn you #20 is on the side of the beach area and the playground. So kids will be there all day playing and adults will be there on the beach area doing what grown ups do. Maybe #19 would be a better pick if you want peace and quiet. The first 5 cabins are adjacent to the Marinas office. No worries there because there's a big Lake separating the two. If I planned on having some friends join us, I would rent the first 5 cabins or get #20 and ask 2 other couples to come out. WHY? Because the cabins are not spaced far apart enough to feel comfortable having a party. Now I he gone to cabins that had only a 100 feet between the two, so this is NOT a complaint. But as a good neighbor, I think my family and friends could be a little too loud for the cabin next door. So I would try to at least get 1-3 or 3-5. But for a group of party people get #20. Trust me on this. And thank me later! Not only can you rent the cabins, but you can also rent a boat for about 8 hours or maybe even half a day. Please call and verify all of this. And keep in mind that you have to gas that B back up. So have you at least $50 to gas up your rental upon return. And you also can leave your boat here and pay for storing it here. We only caught 4 fish this time, but I still enjoyed night fishing and cruising on the beautiful waters of West Point Lake.

Southern Harbor and Resort is an unsanitary and unsafe lodging resort. Beware of shoddy workmanship and lies at this shop! I brought a boat to them with an Alpha 1 Gen 1…read moresterndrive that needed new oil seals in the upper unit. After 7 weeks I got the boat back with the same oil leak. I understand the long lead time due to summer business, but I do expect the problem solved after spending $770 to fix it. I picked it up and they lied to me when they said it sat for 30 hours without a drop of oil leaking and that they pressure tested it. Before hitching up I showed the young man working there that it was still leaking oil from the weep hole at the front of the lower unit and he told me that it was expected. Also told me to take it to the lake and "run it hard" for a while. Good thing I didn't as it leaked out nearly all the gear lube when it sat in my driveway for 5 hours. I took the lower unit off and found it was missing the o-ring between the upper and lower units and that the upper unit oil seal was laying down the driveshaft on the impeller housing! The work I paid so much for was done incorrectly. For that price I have learned I can purchase a new SEI unit and simply install it myself, which is what I'm now doing. The owner refused to give even a partial refund and blames being sick with cancer as a reason he cannot help me. Find a reputable shop that stands behind their work and avoid 3 Lakes Marine.

Not a problem with Langley as they keep you informed and they work with impressive speed and skill. I cannot recommend them too highly. They are the Platinum standard in dealers and service.

You'd think for 5k, they would at least offer a loaner vehicle. They did not. The service department staff was rude and dismissive when we asked for detailed information on delays in receiving the transmission and the repair timelines. They also failed to contact the warranty company after they were notified that the vehicle had an extended warranty. I towed the vehicle to Auto Gallery in LaGrange on 3/20/26, and they made it clear that they would not be able to assess the vehicle until 4/3/26. The vehicle was ready for pickup on 4/9/26. It was not the transmission and the repairs were covered under warranty. Paid a $100.00 deductible. The Langley repair department is either severely incompetent, or the dealership allows employees to take financial advantage of their customers. Lack of Accountability / Failure to Support a Long‑Time Customers / Misdiagnosis and Negligence by Service Department / Predatory Practices in Service Department

I drove my car there and sure enough, it was $20. I was told my car was basically in need of a tune-up and an oil change. I asked how much it would be, the price was PERFECT. The staff kept me informed on what was going to be done to my vehicle. That was very nice and how much each part of the tune up was going to be. I was also told how long it was was going to take. I was told an hour. I didn't have anything to do so I decided to just stay and wait, it was actually done in about 35/40 minutes. Very awesome! The sitting area is nice and the chairs are comfortable. There is a TV in the room and the owner handed me the remote and told me that I could change the channel to anything I wanted. The restrooms were super clean and smelled very good, as did the sitting area. Wax burners were in both places, so it didn't smell like a mechanic shop. I will definitely be returning to this location when I need car work or an oil change. After the tune up, my car purred like a kitten. Wonderful staff and a very, very pleasant place. I was exteremly impressed.

I gave the owner a chance to write if I didn't get by telling him everything that happened and sending him screenshots of every bit of it and he told me there was nothing he could do.
