Going forward I will stay at the Oasis RV park in Las Vegas, which is conveniently close to I-15 and doesn't charge such a ridiculous cancellation fee.

The lake itself looked very green, with noticeable algae and trash. This place definitely has a lot of potential, but it needs attention and upkeep. The price is very reasonable, and in this case, you really do get what you pay for. I would consider staying again and would still recommend it--but with the expectation that it's more of a budget stay than a well-maintained resort.

I requested a cancellation and refund, but they declined. This is not how other RV parks operate -- late arrivals are usually handled easily by assigning a site in advance or allowing you to park and register in the morning. Instead, they chose to confirm my booking, then tell me it couldn't be fulfilled, and still keep my money. That is extremely poor customer service. The management was unfriendly and unprofessional. I would not recommend wasting your time or money here.

The customers almost all had been there before, and appreciate it for the gym that it is in an otherwise stark desert landscape. Family vibe. The town of Shoshone is quaint and funky, and you can get delicious fresh date-nut bread from the local date farms, and fancy lotion and semi precious stones at the local gas station/gift shop. If you're passing through the eastern side of death Valley or on your way to Nevada, this is a nice place to stop and get some rest.

The odd number sites are reservable online. But there will be an extra service fee. The even number sites are first come first serve and they have a card paying machine onsite at the front of the overflow parking area. I think any numbers below site 25 are more spread out and less likely to be bother by noisy neighbors. Best site is probably number 41cos it's the top of the loop. We originally booked 33 but the site is so close to the neighbor and they had like a 40 people birthday party with a gigantic RV blasting that loud generator noise directly to us. Luckily the camp host was doing his runs and we get to ask him if we can change the site. We quickly changed to an even number site and it was so much better.

Almost half the campground was full of multiple tents per site. Quite a few sites had 5-8 tents with 5 or so cars . The noise was unbearable, park rangers came through multiple times flying with their sirens going . I know there is a limit on tent occupancy and 1-2 car allowance. Hopefully there is never an emergency with having one exit and allowing double or triple the allowed vehicles, good luck getting out of there . Hopefully changes are coming .

This is such a sad moment and reflect such a disappointment. We had been here twice before a few…read moreyears ago. 3 years ago it was a pleasure. Not this time. We drove to Tecopa on mother's day. My wife was going to get a chance to soak. We drove up to the office. There was no one there. My wife got outside read all the signs rang a bell and waited a good 5 minutes. Maybe more. In the heat. Outdoors. A woman, with a scowl on her face and a very sour demeanor drove up to talk to my wife. We offered to rent an RV willing to pay up to $100 to use one for a few hours. Just so that my son and I had a place to spend time while my wife soaked. We were willing to pay for my wife and I took as well. The weirdest thing. They were not interested in any business. It was the greatest feeling of unwelcome I've seen in quite a while. I will say that as well their competitor was no better. I'll leave that review separately. Very sad. Terrible experience.

A very country-life feel to it, complete with roosters, sunshine & a lovely breeze. This park…read morehas the potential to be great (the WiFi is super fast) however, the new owner ruins it by retaliating against customers that voice disappointment with their stay. Here's a short list of complaints; - Disorganized, site was not available on arrival nor were any park staff on site at our prearranged arrival time - Demanded to move to another space on short notice - No prior notification the pool is under construction and not functional - No prior notification of construction that occurred 7 days a week - Construction noise beginning before 7a - Only a single functioning bathroom/shower for the entire RV park - Loose dogs on the property - Dog feces left on grounds - Workers trespassing on sites without prior notice from park mgmt, using the site's electric and water - Construction workers living at the back of property - Owner 'forgets' verbal agreements and negatively escalates the situation rather than remedy his lapse in memory Avoid this park if possible. The rates aren't any better than other parks in Pahrump and you'll receive better customer service elsewhere.
