I bought my own wheelchair and bedside commode myself and chose to sleep on the couch, my only option as I remain non weight bearing and incapable of navigating freely in my home, two weeks after discharge.

Many of the staff members have worked there for years and are personally invested in each resident. The staff is very helpful to our family, as well, and never hesitate to answer a call, text, or questions that I have about what's best for Mom. They have been our support system and have helped guide us with such empathy and care. I have met many of the other resident's family members who come to visit and their dedication to their loved ones is inspiring and helpful to me as we are new to this journey. I would not want my sweet mom anywhere else but at Colonial Oaks.
