We had some disappointing hot cross buns recently that definitely weren't fresh. We got the individual ones and they were dry and harder than the last ones we had. The hot cross bun bites were really good though. They reminded me of energy bites, lots of dates and spices. I'd definitely recommend those! Be prepared to spend money. Even as a local I forget how much it can be sometimes. We got 2 scoops of rice/quinoa with a few raisins in from the deli and it was more than £10! At Christmas their smallest wreath was £80 and the mistletoe was £20...I literally picked up an identical sprig from the Burford garden centre for £3 the same day I saw it at Daylesford.

Smoked salmon, prawn, and avocado with lemon and dill mayo (2/5): could use some work. The salmon and prawn weren't thoroughly seasoned and flavored. Overall, Cotswold Baguette is a small and tiny shop known more for their sandwiches. If you really do want a salad I would stay away from the ones that contain seafood or get it without it.

Lots of sandwich options - all on the housemade baguette AND made to order too! - with many vegetarian and vegan choices. We had the Avocado, Sweet Potato Falafel, & Tomato Chutney (£4.30, vegan) and the Brie & Cranberry sandwiches (£3.80, vegetarian). They were equally delicious in their own right, generously filled, and satisfying! I would absolutely order both of them again! Despite the crowd, the small space was clean and the staff was friendly (taking an extra moment to verify vegan ingredients, for example; and not just for us, but we overheard them checking-in with everyone in line about their order). And they moved people through the queue quite quickly. We brought our sandwiches to St Edward's Church and had a picnic. There's lots of other things to get here too if sandwiches aren't your thing (but these really should be) like salads, baked potatoes, cakes, Scotch eggs, and sausage rolls!

I understand fully that this isn't the fault of the restaurant but I feel that it still needs mentioning. Apart from that, if you don't mind standing in line for thirty minutes to be served by someone who doesn't seem to have any interest in anything at all that they are doing, it's ok. I must say the food is fantastic though, 100 times better than McDonald's but service and upkeep of the establishment needs to be brushed up on, big time.

This little cafe is set up in such a way that it reminded me instantly of my nan's flat, but in a way that it makes you feel immediately at home. It was very busy and yet it still felt very laid back. We sat down and were faced with a traditional menu, at rediculously low prices - Fanastic I thought. After ordering my Ocean pie and my partners' ham, egg and chips it was no more that 10 mins before our meals were on the table. The food was delicious! Adding a cup of coffee and a hot chocolate to the bill, it still only just cost us £10. I cannot recommend this cafe enough, although small, it is scrupulously clean, instantly welcoming and very good value for money. Perfect for afternoon tea, breakfast or a cheap lunch.

Stopped here to find them a little busy for a Sunday afternoon. Still, we were sat promptly and got out menus. We ordered the small portions of the weiner schnitzels and had two teas. All the food was good as was the loose leaf tea. I also ordered the chocolate gateau for dessert and enjoyed the as well. Surprised to find such a nice caliber of a restaurant in a shopping mall.
