Imagine making an appointment for 1 PM and not being a morning person as well as having 3 hours of…read morechores. The owner Greg Jo preferred to do another job and assumed I would automatically comply and be ready over 4 hours before his expected arrival. He called my landline without leaving a message which is always off, and my answering machine is never on before I wake up. However, messages can be left on my machine when off as people are aware. Then he knocks on my door about 8:50 AM and am normally still in bed. This pushy sexist narcissist behavior assumes I had to comply with his last-minute needs without considering me. My door is only answered if I expect someone, and I was ready for our appointment at 1 PM which he made over the phone which is formal. It is wise for any female living alone to be cautious and my privacy is essential, but Greg was totally disrespectful. Also, I prefer not to be disturbed being considered without assumptions from his side. My intuition is usually on target but this time I trusted the wrong person. And he still is defending his poor behavior. When confronting him in a text he never showed any remorse or apologized not that it would have mattered. Fortunately, my car did start after appearing not to do so as Greg said he could fix it. My buddy's vehicle is not working now so it appeared none of us could get around. I depended on Greg to be here as transportation is necessary especially living far from everything. Obviously, he believes only his needs and desires matter and I bet he would not have done this against a male. The appointment about two days in advance, so I did not seek other help and fortunately I contacted a mechanic manager around here from a while back. Being reliable and caring is essential for maintaining a business. Am shocked at his attitude since expecting a nicer human being from St. Thomas. I just read Greg's irrelevant comments falsely claiming there was no formal appointment, but all are done over a phone, so that is formal. He is using words to make himself sound acceptable as if it were my fault about expectations. I reasonably expected him to show up and not cancel also care. He assumes I answer my door and only considers his circumstances and sounds as if he is blaming me without taking responsibility. Unfortunately, I do not have the influence to put him out of business. There is enough narcissism in this world without depending on others to assist us in our times of need. Now I am angrier than previously as his rebuttal again displays his self-centeredness. Anyone can see that Greg did not consider my needs and pushed his sudden change of heart/schedule on me. I was raised to believe "The customer is always right." His response shows that I deserved the outcome because I was not ready to change my plans. I never make morning appointments even for surgeries and doctor's visits, but like a typical narcissist he assumes others must conform to his desires. Like many if not most he is ignorant about specific health matters nor cares treating me or probably everyone as if we are identical. His general irrelevant response resembles that of a politician avoiding the actual issues without taking any accountability.
