What in the world...I received an invoice from West Coast screening the other day and the invoice was from February 9th, 2024, 2 years ago! I just ignored it at first thinking it was a mistake. Then they started charging me late fees and sent another invoice. They asked me to prove that I had paid this invoice or I would continue accruing late fee charges. So I looked in my bank history and found them my check. The check was for the $100 charged (it was a small job), written to the owner Vlad Poksans. I sent them a copy. They did not even thank me for doing their accounting for them. So watch out for billing. read more

After Helene, I lost 4 top screens. I called for service and 2 days later the job was completed. They sent a picture along with the invoice with payment options. This is the second time I've used West Coast and the results were the same: very responsive, professional, affordable and friendly workers. Run! Dont' walk! Absolutely horrific experience dealing with the owner Vlad of this company. Delays are understandable, but leaving the lanai and exterior a mess, not finishing the screening or the caulking, not placing sand in the pavers so they tilt and move, and not cleaning the lanai as promised is totally inexcusable. Ready for the best! The owner wants full payment even though the job is not even finished after he agreed to full payment earlier in the day upon job completion, and now even had the nerve to threaten late fees! Notifying the Better Business Bureau and my entire community about this contractor and filing a complaint with the County. read more

I had the worst experience ever with this company. First they came out to do an estimate and immediately required a deposit. After numerous attempts to find out when our lanai screens would be repaired I was put on hold so many times I was finally given a scheduled date. of course they did not show up and after many weeks two guys just magically appeared. The guys satin my driveway eating their lunch before even starting the work. After an hour and since it was mid day, I asked when they would start. Eventually, they started to work for two hours then took a smoke break for 30 minutes. After they finished they left all of their crap sitting on the cage still. I had to call someone to get it down. They harassed me for payment and had said they would touch up surfaces with paint but never returned. This company was awful from the start. very unprofessional and very unreliable. Also charged me for work that was done that I didn't really want them to do. If I can save people from this experience I would start by saying ....never use them! read more

Hired them to reseal leaking super gutter.Guy came over and spent a total of 10 minutes on roof and leak continued that night after some rainfall.Nobody would come and look at issue and they basically robbed me of $200.Stay away if you can. read more

] We had a full rescreening job done on our lanai and pool cage in Rotonda West by Vlad's crew after hurricane Ian. Vlad gave us a written quote and asked for only a 25% deposit with a promised start date. The job actually started a couple of days before the promised start date, and took less than 1 and 1/2 days to complete and we then paid the balance due. A few days after completion, we noticed a few wrinkles in some of the screens and a couple of accidental cuts or tears in two screens. We informed Vlad about this and we let him know that there was no urgency in getting this things corrected, because we knew his crew was busy with so many other properties damaged by Ian. Today, crew member Ruben completed these minor repairs and we're now happy to post this positive review and a positive recommendation for this company. -Anton in Rotonda West. read more

We had friendly face to face interactions and conversations with Josh and Brian. Josh was diligent and detailed with the installation of the screen framing and screening of our lanai - he worked alone and did a fantastic job. Brian is who I communicated with the most, and also the salesman Bryce, and all my questions were answered to my satisfaction. We asked for the screen to keep out the no-see-ums, and they had it in stock. Both Brian and Josh cleaned up the area afterwards which was a real blessing. Now we will be able to enjoy our lanai when the weather cools down...I'm sure we'll have meals out there and sit to read! Thank you gentlemen! read more

I lost one square of screen during the last hurricane storm a few weeks ago. I went online and asked for references for somebody to come out and fix it. West Coast got a hold of me on Facebook and said they would come out and do it today which was a Sunday and they would do it for free. Of course I questioned that because nothing is free. After talking to the owner, he said they did so many pool cages after hurricane Ian that they wanted to give back to the community, and they in fact, did come out and replace both of my screen panels for free with a great gentleman that was fantastic at what he did. I even got a refrigerator magnet and I can Cousy as a thank you for using them. That alone makes me wanna advertise them left and right. Thank you very very much. Technician Brian arrived a day early (they called first to make sure that was OK). He worked the whole time, barely stopping to grab a drink of water. Old screens gone, new screens in place. My lanai looks like a brand new one. He cleaned everything up and bundled it to be picked up at curbside. The next day Alex and Kiefer came to do the pressure washing. We could not be more pleased with the timeliness, professionalism, and final result. Only giving 5 stars because the system will not allow me to give 6. Arrived on time. Polite and professional. They made a difficult job look easy. Cleaned up used screen and neatly bundled for removal. Next day I discovered two pin holes in new screen.
