I will write a receipt for materials" as apposed to a scope of work to be completed. At that point I stopped and researched him on the web. Many things he spoke of were false claims. He had bad reviews on several sites. He's been accused of taking money and not doing the promised work. I'm not saying he does bad work. I am warning you to do research. So I was pleasantly surprised by my experience with Maria and Chano of Castro Irrigation. Their business is thriving and they cover a large geographic area so I had to wait a few days for an appointment here in Sarasota. But the appointment was very easy to schedule through both voice and text. They arrived early and were ready to start work at the scheduled time. They efficiently assessed the repairs needed when my last provider - a well-known establishment who seems to have grown too fast - failed to perform. They had all necessary replacement parts, including a new control board/timer, with them so they were able to complete the (unfortunately extensive) work the same day. Nothing is cheap anymore but I feel like their prices were fair in light of the work performed. System is now fully operable again - they walked with me at the conclusion of work to demonstrate. All in all, very positive experience. I would recommend this company.

My yard is ruined. It has many bumps and holes because they did not level it after laying the new grass. Actually the so called new grass was already old and ready to die before they even laid it. The yard is very uneven and hard to mow. Your team is not top notch. If anyone is reading this remember you really do not know who has written the recent reviews that show nothing but excellent work. None of it is true. This is a company that does not care how the lawn looks, they take your money and run. I have tried to find them but they keep putting different addresses of where they live, so you are not able to ask them questions about why they left the lawn in bad shape. Please DO NOT HIRE this company. There is no value in hiring someone who does what they want and not what the owner requests.

Previously, I had employed other companies to seal my driveway and lanai pavers, but results were…read moreso so. I contacted the Respectable Group, and I arranged for an estimate. The plan presented was to remove old sealers from my pavers, then clean the pavers, and the seal them. This included the driveway and my lanai. They would move the furniture from my lanai and then return it when the job was complete. I signed the offered contract, and I also asked for a maintenance agreement which they provide. The pavers look better now than they did when my house was built. I was really happy with the lanai. Several pavers had mold growing on the sides. The heat process used killed the mold and after the pressure wash, any sand that needed to be replaced was. An excellent result was achieved, and several neighbors have commented on how good everything looks.

Talks the talk but fails to walk the walk…read more The staff / owners gave us a great presentation and promised a first rate lanai refurbishment including cleaning, replacing, filling-in (sand), and sealing our travertine pavers. They promised to cover our pool / spa to prevent sand intrusion and estimated a week to a week and a half to complete the job. Yes they cleaned and replaced pavers to our satisfaction. That said, any sealant that might have been applied several months ago is long gone. Moreover, the sand filler has washed away. We now have more loose pavers than before our ~$6,000 job. The job took well over a month as we couldn't count on when the workers would show, despite promises to the contrary. And, months later I'm still cleaning sand from my pool / spa. An owner, who was prompt at picking up a check, promised to have an employee return to fix the loose pavers - haven't seen or heard from them since. Lastly, three of my neighbors report similar issues with the "Respectable Group." I recommend not committing to this entity; however, if you do, hold the final payment for at least 30 days to verify the intended results.

He pointed out failures, inexpensive ways of improving my existing system and items to add/replace to raise the system performance to the desired level. Ezekiel was clear, definitive, honest. Two separate key (to me) points: - they take Zelle (no 3% add on and no fiddling with checks) - they were going to be late and texted, provided an ETA, and texted when they were on their way. That alone gets very high marks from me. I pay them right away and they get their money in a timely fashion. Finally, I got a note from saying Ezekiel had been in the area and cleaned my backflow filter (picture - no charge). Texted back that i had the old style backflow. His wife texted back that he had replaced it as a part of improving my irrigation system. Wow.
