We first hired Florida Gulf Coast Underground to resurface our driveway. Once Riley (owner) came…read moreout to give us an estimate we increased the scope and added a new driveway to our barn area. He provided me with an estimate the same day. I scheduled the project, and after a couple of "rain delays" (no fault of the company) he came in, coordinated the entire project and completed the initial work in 1 day. There were a couple of minor areas that had settled due to the material being wet and he came back out and fixed everything to our satisfaction. Our second project was much more extensive and required the coordination of 150 loads of fill dirt, leveling and grading. This project began on a Tuesday morning and was completed by end of day on Thursday. Riley and his partner, Jake, handled every aspect from start to finish and kept us informed along the way. He made sure we were satisfied at the completion of the project and provided his personal guarantee that if we have any issues they will come back out and fix the problem. So far everything is looking great. The 3rd project is pending for the spring of 2020 and we will definitely hire Florida Gulf Coast Underground to do the work on our property. Both Riley and Jake are very professional. They follow up with any questions you may have and keep you in the loop during the entire process. I highly recommend this company for all of your projects - both large and small. They are flexible with the scope of your project and listen to what you want and they make suggestions to improve upon your ideas.

He then re-sodding the entire area to prevent erosion of the area, Because of some wet weather he was unable to get sod right away so he repaired several areas that eroded thru no fault of his. He did a great job with all aspects of the project. In addition he was extremely conscientious in following up after each step to make sure we were satisfied. I would highly recommend him for any outside civil type work. CBC Condo President

I signed a quote for a home remodel project (removal and installation of a insulation and a vapor…read morebarrier) on December 20, 2016 with Anchor and Remodeling, Inc. with my contact person being Mike Chaffee. This was for a project for my parents home in a retirement community in Sarasota, FL. On the same day, my credit card was charged for $1586 as they required down payment equaling half of the entire payment. The balance of an additional $1586 was to be paid upon completion of the remodel. On Monday, January 23, 2017 I received a text message from Mike Chaffee that stated they could not do the remodel job as agreed upon because there was not enough room underneath the home. He said that they can issue a refund of my money. He apologized and said that has never happened before. That evening I called Mike Chaffee and told him that I requested a full refund since they could not complete the work as agreed upon. He said that he would process that refund first thing in the morning. The following day, January 24, 2017 at 1:19pm, I emailed the contact, Mike Chaffee, confirming that he processed the refund of $1586 back to the AMEX as we agreed upon the previous evening. On the same day, at 1:58pm he responded and said that "it was done and to allow a couple of days for it to show up". Since I did not receive the refund and emails were not being returned, on February 1, 2017 I sent a text message to Mike Chaffee telling him that the refund has not been credited back and to please resolve. He responded at 2:18pm saying, "yes, I make sure it's handle today for sure." Since the refund was not being processed, I was beginning to become skeptical about this company. I hired another company to go underneath the home and they stated that there was plenty of room underneath the home to get the job done. I also have documentation from that company stating that absolutely no previous work was done by All American Anchoring and Remodeling, Inc. On February 4, 2017 I once again emailed my contact at the company, Mike Chaffee, replying to his very first email written on January 24, 2017 at 1:58pm where he stated that the refund was done and to allow a couple of days for it to show up. Once again, there was no reply to my inquiry. Emails that were once replied to immediately, are no longer being responded to. On February 4, 2017 I also sent a second email to Mike Chaffee indicating that I now had concerns that his company stated that they could not do the work that they were contracted to as a result of "the home was too close to the ground". In summation, work could not be performed according to the company, work was not performed by the company, and they stated on two occasions that they have refunded monies paid. I have all documentation in the form of text messages and emails regarding this case. I have reached out to the Attorney General, Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, and the Federal Trade Commission and have secured legal counsel. I just wanted to provide these details on google as there are currently zero reviews for this company and I would not want anyone to go through the same ordeal as I did. Stay far away from this company. Their mailing address is a UPS Store and their physical address is for a catering company in what looks to be a semi-abandoned warehouse. Definitely something shady going on with this contractor.

People show up to give an estimate and never provide a quote; or worse, provide a quote and then try to increase the price after-the-fact. But THIS job went better than expected on just about every level. So a huge shout-out and thank you to Lamb Tree Care Service, because I cannot say enough good things about this company. They were a very late addition to the list of tree companies I contacted to get an estimate to have 11 large oaks trimmed; and two others completely removed. The owner, Paul Lamb showed up and we walked the property; he provided a verbal quote right off the top of his head, and I told him that it was a great quote but I'd need it in writing - - he said that one would be coming no later than the following day, and when I checked my e-mail barely an hour later, and I had a VERY detailed, itemized statement, complete with notes about certain parts of the project. It was not only the care they took to be professional about the quoting process, it didn't hurt that the price was significantly better than the others I'd received. Also, a couple of companies told me that the job would take at least three and possibly four days. Lamb said it would be done in a day and a half at most. I called the company to approve the job, and heard from the office shortly thereafter to set up the work date. James, the crew foreman, arrived Wednesday morning right on time, and we walked the property to be sure that nothing was lost in translation. Not long thereafter, his crew of two showed up with the big equipment, and for the next 7 hours or so, they tackled this huge job without any hiccups whatsoever. They even blew the leaves off of our roof. It didn't take four days or three or even a day and a half. They were done in a single day. So now we no longer have an enormous oak, dangerously leaning over our driveway (it was pushed to a very concerning angle during Hurricanes Ian and Idalia), and the large branches that loomed over our pool cage, fence, and even the next-door neighbor's house have been removed. If you have any tree trimming work that needs to be done, contact these guys at 941-377-3333; they're fantastic.
