Closed since 2014 due to leaks. Looks like they might replace with a splash pad at some point

First the pool is right near the beach. you can do backstroke and see palm trees! Second. It always has a QUALITY coach on deck. Not just running through a board with a work out on it. They are experienced coaches who care. It is clean and easy to get to. If you are traveling and want to swim a %) meter practice...come on over and check them out. Great place o swim and enhjoy.

Our move to SBSC was about increasing their pool time and being part of a team. This is definitely a high performance program and not a play-time at the pool. Meets are competitive and can be intense for beginner swimmers (and parents) until you get the hang of it. That said, this is a controlled environment for young athletes to really challenge themselves and learn about setting goals and accomplishing them even when they "don't feel like practicing today." I guess that would be the self-discipline muscle grouping getting a work out. My husband and I grew up on sports teams so are not squeamish about our kids getting coached and adhering to a structure swim team. I recommend that new parents looking at the program visit a few practices and talk to the coaches first. Other parents are also a resource, so don't be shy about asking them questions also. We purchased a Harbor Parking pass which can be used along the waterfront from Leadbetter to East Beach, so worth the $$$. The surrounding area is the perfect waiting room for parents, so bring your running shoes or bike to work out while your kids practice. At least four decent coffee houses are within walking distance to pass the time and enjoy SB.

We have been taking our daughter to Wendy's swim class for over a year now. The first day of class…read moreit is hard to see your baby cry because the swim experience is new (the pool is heated & babies are always supervised by 1-2 adults with swim jackets) but after just 1-2 classes our daughter was LOVING swimming!! If we miss a class our daughter notices & tells us! "Swimming!!" Wendy knows how EXACTLY how to work with babies & teach them swimming. One of the most impressive things they learn is if they fall in the pool they learn to put their arms up, reach for the side and climb out of the pool-this is HUGE for pool safety should your baby somehow manage to fall in!! We have had so many compliments from other parents while on vacation about how well our daughter swims for her age. Thank you Wendy & crew! We will be enrolling our son as soon as he is old enough too!

We absolutely love it there!!! The facilities are always clean and tidy and the staff is amazing. They start the babies out with small classes which help with repetition and really learning the basics, and then move them on to privates which really focus on technique and skill. We look forward to swim every week and intend to continue going well into the girls joining their swim team. Thank you Wendy and team!!!

I was very pleased with my change to his company for weekly service. Considering it needed a remodel, I then called around to several pool remodeling contractors in Ventura County. Dan had the most competitive quote. He also came out to my house multiple times on very short notice to discuss options. Further, I called him on the weekend when I was looking at tile options and he answered right away. I had dozens of questions for him and changed my mind about certain things numerous times throughout the process, but he would always respond with a smile and assure me it was not an issue. Dan ended up replacing my heater, pump, lights, piping, blower, tile, and pebble plaster all in one week. His employees left the area immaculate at the end of the project and I could not be happier with the end result. If you need either weekly pool service or a remodel, call Dan!
