Upon return, the gentleman was not there, the girl behind the counter was untruthful and stated that she cleaned it before she rented it to me and they added extra charges on including an extra cleaning charge for me for salt that was inside of the vehicle when I picked it up. It was in the 60s sun was shining the day I rented it . I took pictures all of the outside of the U-Haul, I didn't care much about the salt. I was just in a hurry to move because I had people waiting to help me upon my return there was a Caucasian girl and a younger girl from India, descent, and together they were not friendly actually it was almost like a threatening type environment. Integrity means everything to me. I would not recommend this place just based on the Customer Service alone not to mention the untruthful statement in the extra charges for the U-Haul cleaning, etc..

If they're out of stock, which happens especially because COVID has everything on backorder, they're incredibly helpful and work to find something that I will like instead. They have a fantastic stock of vape juice, although they are slightly pricey, but that's to be expected for a small-ish shop. I used to live a three minute walk away so it was my go-to place. I've since moved up by UWM, but I still go well out of my way to come here because I like them that much. I can't recommend this place enough!

They used to not take credit card under a certain amount. Now they take it for any amount. They have at least 5 doors of beers and canned mixed drinks and double that for wine. In addition to light beer they had local craft beer- MKE, Third Space, Eagle Park, Lakefront, and less local Toppling Goliath. They have soda, snacks, and some typical corner store food- cans, microwavable, etc. They have individual cans of soda if you don't like bottles. They have a lot of smoking paraphernalia as well. I highly recommend the gift shop part, they have very nice gift quality bamboo plants and I caution you about overusing the noun, gift, as a verb. I understand it's technically correct but this usage should be limited to large charitable donations else we run into uncomfortable confusion when we refer to, say, a gifted child (talented or human slavery?). Here you can find all sorts of nice planter gifts you can GIVE to a friend. I gave myself one. I would most certainly not say I "gifted one" to myself. It's my year, the year of the rat, so I also got a Chinese rat artsy fartsy desk top thing that my cat Scotty immediately knocked off the desk. In the process of seemingly casual conversation they quickly discern what it is you want and maybe need to hear. From this perspective I can also recommend them for people who need a little support, a little guidance. Over the years I've noted that occult advisers of various cloaks and genres actually provide supportive therapy, a friendly and sympathetic ear for those who need to get through a difficult time, experience or transition. If they're good that is, and I feel like these two are very good. But if you're just popping in to explore, the banter borders on annoying so be forewarned. He is very pleasant and easy to work with. I had an issue with the pressure and he came out and got it running. Jeff even looked at the pool and tightened a couple items on the filter for me. He also gave me some advice on opening and closing up the pool. Jake O. - who delivered the pool and pool parts was very polite. Jake answered all my questions. He stacked the items neatly in our garage. I had a question about the voltage on the pump - he took the pump out of the box to show me what electric I needed for the new pool. Great customer service. I will say that I advise anyone looking to get a pool or to service a pool or just get pool supplies - to go to Park Place. They went above and beyond on customer service.
