Pricing was outrageous for the quality of work provided. Move ups of extensions run $200-300 in the Midwest and my bill was over $500. My prior stylist in Portland charged $220 and was able to secure the extensions with a single application of thread, moving from one side of my head to the other with no back tracking. Lauren used three different strands of thread requiring several tie offs and weaved back and forth in the back of my head after missing an entire weft in the application. The threading is bulkier than I've ever had, and the number of beads was fewer creating wavy application rather than smooth and consistent. The website lists her as master stylist, however her Instagram page appears to indicate she's been doing extensions for 4 years. The classification far oversells her capabilities in this modem and does not justify the astronomical price of this service. First time going to this salon. I really enjoyed this clean salon. They were extremely polite when I made an appointment. My hairstylist was Bailey and she was extremely professional. Most hair salons, you can tell them what you want, and it turns out the complete opposite of what you asked for. Not here. My first time going to this salon. I went because it had high ratings. The stylist was very nice but the appointment took 3 and a half hours. It costed me $230. When I got home I noticed spots had been missed in my hair which were clearly visible. There were spots where the foils were placed at least an inch from my scalp so I had distinct lines where the highlight started and the root began. It looked awful. I went to the salon to get my money back. I was told the stylist that originally did my hair would have to fix it. My event was 2 days away and I had no time to make another appointment due to having to work and the schedule of the stylist not working with my schedule. I just wanted my money back and the owner stated they do not do refunds. She briefly looked at my hair and said "oh yeah looks like some foils bled" I admit I did get angry with her because $230 is alot of money to spend on a job that wasn't done correctly and I was so embarrassed with how it looked. I have called her numerous times for copies of the agreement I signed before my hair was done. I have had no response. There was no negotiating, no problem solving and for sure no empathy. To the owner of the salon, you and your stylist have an important job of giving people confidence and you failed. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. read more

They do a great job at West 13th. I first experienced a men's cut here after having a bad experience at Everetts Barbershop in town. They fixed my cut for no charge and I've been back twice now and will continue. Brittany does a fantastic job and the treatment is relaxing which makes it worth the couple dollars more. Robin Etter had put hair extensions in about two-months ago, and I just loved them. The little extra added color set it of nicely. The extra hair extensions gave my hair volume and length. I was very surprised how well they stayed in. When I wanted them out for a new look, it was simple process to have her remove them. I'm back to a cute, short hair style and ready for the summer. Just got an all over color and cut, or it was supposed to be cut. Only have 1star because the lady who did my hair was really nice. So my hair is brown now and my roots are RED!!!!!! I originally wanted something different but got talked into this. I was ok with it. Until I got home and restyled it. There is color all over my skin and forehead, my roots are red, despite the fact I chose natural color, and it doesn't even look trimmed, much less cut! 180.00!!!!!!! Because they needed a second bowl of color.......that only one swipe was taken out of, that has never happened to me, since my hair is short. Soo disapointed! It did seem like the lady who did my hair was uncertain of how to even do it. What was done to my hair, I could have done at home, w/o red roots and none on my skin. read more

I had a half hour massage scheduled. By the time the massage therapist brought me into the room it was already 5 minutes after my appointment time. Once I undressed and got on the table, my massage lasted no longer than 20 minutes. They should not schedule the massages so close together so that we get the time period we paid for. I enjoyed the massage, but if this is their normal practice I will not be going back. read more

Never go here for your hair extensions!It was an absolute nightmare to say the least!! First, I had to pay over a 100 to get my hair colored to match the extensions, then the extensions came in a golden blonde way off from my white blonde color, she put them in anyways and said they would blend! The texture was not even close to my hair, so i call to come back in and try to have it fixed and once again doesn't get anywhere! THEN i come back again and finally we get close to my color and she trims it to look better but leaves some extensions barely hanging on my head and says she doesnt have time to fix it after iv paid over $1,000 and am going to be on the other side of the US for 3-4 weeks! She also says i can just slip them back in myself, so i lose 5-6 pieces on vacation and it looks horrible!I call them up yet again and they say nope you have to have it put in by the salon cuz its very damaging and the reason i wanted extensions was because my stylist told me they were non-damaging and i get charged by rate to put them in so it wont even cost 1,000 and i wanted longer hair! come to find out its a set rate of a 1,000 and took her 40min to put them in!! waste of my time and money!So, after i got back i had to go in another time to have the extensions put back in and they CHARGED me again!!! even tho she purposely left them hanging! she also had to cut my hair from another mess up she had done and now its the length it was when i first went in! So it has been a nightmare, i have got no discounts,i have got lied to, and the whole point of the extensions is all ruined and here i sit after spending about 1,400 on this hair that is the same length mine was! I say was because i also realized she cut my real hair way to short after putting extensions in and now my real hair is only a short layer, so now i dont even have the option of taking my extensions out! how great! ohh yeah and im a college student on top of all this, so it's not like i have an abundance of money or time for this!!!
