I liked the surgeon a great deal but problems appeared post surgery and were handled very poorly. - The initial surgery date was bumped by the clinic. - Post surgery, I left a message with their answering service about a very large pustule on my nose and skin break-out, concerned it was an infection. No response. - I called back, left a message through the front desk. No response. - We finally set an office appointment, which they rescheduled to a later date. (So much later, it was almost cleared.) Reason was undetermined, possibly an infected suture(?). - After a long wait/healing period, I returned for a postop visit. My surgery had failed; my right nostril had collapsed, a bump remained from the pustule, my nostrils were asymmetrical and my occlusion was actually worse. From function to poor aesthetics as an aftermath, what a disappointment. - Unfortunately, I paid my invoice promptly in full. - Since the problems ranged from every aspect of the clinic (from admin to surgery), I spoke with the office manager. While very apologetic for the overall experience, she promised to look into my billing and call me back. I never heard back, even after 2 follow-up messages, still no response, so I chose to write a review. - I've had to seek out 2nd opinions and solutions, at my expense. Because of PDX ENT, I'm now looking at corrective surgery, additional cost, pain and my face looking worse than when I began. - There are no guarantees with any surgery, understood. I've been patient and professional through this debacle but, I have to say, I can't recall a more unprofessional experience from start to finish.

I have hearing only in one ear and my other (and only) good ear experienced a sudden loss of hearing. I called that day and it took about 20 minutes on hold, which is understandable these days. When the scheduler finally answered, he asked if he could "put me on a brief hold" and then he cut off my call, so I had to start all over again. On the second try, I explained my sudden hearing loss and the fact that it was in my only working ear, that I'm an established patient (not a new patient), and that I felt it important to be seen as soon as possible as I was afraid that I might lose my hearing altogether. He looked up my chart and promptly came back with information that wasn't even close to my chart. After I finally got him to find the right information, he told me he couldn't get me in to see the doc for almost two months. I shared my concerns about losing my remaining hearing (in case this was a virus or something serious) and he told me if I was that concerned, I could go to the ER. He didn't want to hear anything more from me. Basically it was, "...take it or leave it and I'm going to hang up on you for pushing back." I found a new clinic where the office staff and doctors listened and responded in a manner that addressed the urgency of my problem. And they answered the phone quickly, too! I was able to get a hearing test and doc appointment within 5 days. Oregon Clinic ENT was not at all user friendly, respectful, helpful, nor did they show any empathy or concern whatsoever. There's no benefit in having a great doc if their public-facing first-contact representative treats people with such disdain and indifference.

Regrettably I have seen Dr. Howard Kim 3 times. He is the most argumentative ignorant doctor I have…read moreever witnessed. each visit was worst than the last. I wish I could mark half a star. I have been seeing various doctors a couple times a week for the past month or so to try and figure out a problem I am having. The first time i visited Dr. Kim he gave me a diagnosis without even hearing my full story or taking the time to listen. The second time I visited him was after I had an MRI taken. The purpose of the visit was to look at the MRI and shed some light on the subject, but he didn't even get the MRI from the imaging office! Why the heck did I even come in?! He just told me to take prescription pills with horrible side effects for the condition that I may or may not have. The third time I went in was by request from Dr. Kim. He basically scolded me for not taking his word on his diagnosis. however he could not explain to me his reasoning behind it an any way. I DO NOT recommend going to this doctor! I would rather stab myself in the eye with a fork than deal with Dr. Kims inability to care for his patients one more time.

Anyway, I guess I needed a prelude to my review here. Ha! I saw Dr. Wilson yesterday afternoon. He confirmed I have Viral Labrynthitis and that is what has been causing my Vertigo. He prescribed me some Xanax and I have to say, im stoked! LOL. I'm not a pill person but when its prescribed, I gotta take it right? =) There was a super long wait.....I didn't actually see the doctor until about an hour and 20 minutes after my scheduled apt time. I did have a hearing test first, and that alone, I had to wait about 50 minutes to do. So I cant really blame the wait time on that. Once the Doc came into my waiting room, I was in and out in about 10 minutes. Super short visit time. I guess its okay because he confirmed my issue. I would probably go back to The Wilson Clinic if I need more testing or if my vertigo just doesn't go away. But it wasn't the best of times.

When I pointed it out to him, he made excuses and didn't apologize. He squeezed sanitizer on and proceeded with scope. I received communication from Sasha that my calcium was 3.2! I am dead with a calcium level of 3.2! I am a nurse so I'm incredibly concerned that someone is leaving this as a message. Then I was told by Dr. Kim's P.A. That my surgery failed. He pulled something from my nostril. I asked what it was. He told me it was my bone. The next day I wrote Dr. Kim. He told me it was a splint that was supposed to dissolve. I repeatedly receive phone calls requesting feedback. I repeatedly left messages regarding concerns. No one circled back. The office doesn't care if it's giving false medical education/information.
