It seems these parents bring the kids inside and they go nuts running around filling up slurpees, looking for unhealthy salty snacks and calorie filled candy. She tried again "they're buy one, get one for a dollar!" I declined again, and heard her whisper "dang it," and she looked genuinely sad... I asked if she got a kickback or something for selling candy, and she explained that the employees bonuses are based solely on how many candy bars they push, and further explained that they get a monthly "quota" they must meet as a team, and if the quota isn't met no one gets the monthly bonus, no matter how many items an individual team member sells. How much of a bonus, you may ask? $50/per employee. And the monthly candy quota? 14,000 candy bars. FOURTEEN THOUSAND. No one should be made to beg for a bonus which is essentially what this money-grubbing Corporation is forcing their employees to do. (I bought 4 candy bars.) Do better, Speedway.
