I absolutely LOVE this hidden gem! The only reason it has taken me so long to write about it is…read moremaybe some part of me wants to keep it all to myself. But i know its only a matter of time before people find out what an amazing sanctuary there is right off of 74! The energy is amazing from the second you walk through the doors. Located in an unassuming strip of possible warehouses, this a haven awaits. So far I have taken the yin yoga classes which are donation based (YOGA FOR ALL...I LOVE IT!) you will leave that class floating and in a daze. It's so relaxing. The studio is equipped with all the yoga props you would need and the space is roomy. Ive also taken the aerial silk meditation class....OMG. i fell in love. best 30 minutes of my 2018 thus far....Sure its only January, but I intend to repeat! This clas was an insane 5 bucks!!! Why did I write that?! Like I said, best kept yoga secret! The silk classes do require pre-registration as there are only a limited number of them and im def not sharing my hammock! Sorry homie, you've got to book your own! There are other classes offered such as vinyasa, Zumba and i believe a strength type class and i fully intend to check them out but seriously, the yin and meditation are enough to keep me coming back for more!

She adjusts to each person and provides just the right amount of assistance. Her voice is soothing and she has provided things like music and rose water to really bring class to a more relaxing level. My girls always enjoy classes and recently my youngest sons have both started there…read more I have enjoyed the nutcracker performances for several years as well as the spring shows. There is always something new to see, and lots of wonderful sets and dances. Not every dancer is perfect, but every dancer has a chance to dance and that is an awesome opportunity for all folk. My kids have learned a lot and their dance skills have improved immeasurably since joining Bonita's School of Ballet. The studio is friendly and staff has always been very polite and handled whatever issues I have had quickly and professionally.

The instructors didn't even look like they knew what they were doing. They kept putting the recital off this is probably why they should have put it off till July maybe then it would have been better. Then they wanted to sell 40 dollar CDs!!! Ha ha for what a hot mess? They were not professional and didn't even say hey or smile. I know I saw one lady getting in a young girls face I have no idea if it was her child or not but I know she worked there! If she talks to hers that ways she will talk to mine that way. My kids won't attend again. The costumes were beautiful but that was it!!! The 7 year old girls was the best no one else and some of the girls they should have made wear a sports bra there were boobs everywhere!! It's not supposed to be hat way I danced for 13 years and we we're on point what happened to one two three four and one two three four???????? Horrible school!!! And rude staff.

f you want your child(ren) subject to micro aggressions on every level; especially race related,…read morethis is definitely the place for you and your child. Over the past six months, Barbara Morgan, her daughter Morgan Eaves, and most recently Layne Barter have intentionally engaged in racially subjective communications directly to the parents followed by a video to the children. Specifically, when communicating hair requirements for competition season Morgan Eaves so boldly pens the below communication to all parents directing styling of hair based on skin complexion. See below notations to "dark skinned". This was then followed up with an eyeshadow make up tutorial, from Layne Barter, posted on YouTube (has since been removed) detailing the shade of eyeshadow to use for "light skinned honeys" and "dark skinned lovelies". This video was posted to the dance team's Band social media site for the girls to watch and learn. Please note, because this video was removed after I voiced concerns, I was only able to chapter the cover page of the video-see below. When myself and other parents expressed concerns about the inappropriateness of the video AND the email, the owner Barbara Morgan responded "I don't see anything wrong with what was said in the video or in the email". In response, other parents continued to explain in more detail (almost to the point of begging and pleading) the level of inappropriateness of these communications to Barbara. In good ole fashioned biased style, Barbara resorted to posting a written statement on The Band basically telling everyone that the concerns of one individual(s) does not matter, and that the team is of the utmost importance. See below. Please note, there are very few African Americans or other minorities at this studio. At no time has she met with, nor has she since met, any of these families to discuss this very serious matter. In response, I withdrew my child and requested a refund. When I requested a refund, I was directed to an attorney she hired; where I received a refund of monies as requested. Again, there are only a few minorities at the studio. At no time has she, even as of the date of this writing, addressed this issue with those who remain. It's such a slap in the face and sends the message of I don't give a you know what about your you know what she refers to us as. In addition to this incident, I have witnessed Barbara interject herself in the middle of a sensitive family matter all in the name of making sure the child danced at her studio. There have been other instances of medical emergencies where the parent was NOT contacted. WHY? Because dance is of the utmost importance. After all whats a little breathing problem when in the words of Morgan "never let down your team".

As a divorced parent I lost the battle for where she dances otherwise she would not be dancing here. In fact the only reason she continues to dance there is because they are providing her FREE scholarship to dance there covering all the costs associated with the dance saving her upwards of 10k which is passed along to other parents unknowingly I just ask to be informed of what is going on and have been blocked and they have told my daughter they refuse to communicate with me regarding her welfare and well being and dance activities at the studio. I have gone so far as to get a court order for which they refuse to follow because I do lot want her to dance there. My advice is to stay away and find a studio that is inclusive regardless of disagreements. Because sadly this one is not Also have issue with kids bullying other kids and they not notifying go parents which has caused students to leave as well as they Rey to brush under the rug
