Even though I routinely have issues at the pharmacy as a result of the medications I am on, anytime I run into them 99% of the time either Dr. B or the office staff call back or send in whatever paperwork is required in a prompt manner and it is typically the pharmacy that holds everything up. I have referred many patients to Dr. B's office and all have made him their Primary Care dr. It is a private practice with 3 exam rooms and just like anything else, depending on how busy or booked they are determined how long you have to wait in the waiting room. In 10 years I have never waited more than 30-40 min to be brought back and most of the time I can count on being out of there anywhere between 1-1.5 hrs after my appt time. (there have also been occasions where I was in and out in 30 min). The only thing I would prefer as a patient is for them to bring back the answering service, that way if you're running into issues at the pharmacy on the weekend there is a way to resolve it without having to wait until the office is open on a Monday - but that is a minor issue, really.

He was so nice and took his time explaining how the surgery would go. He answered all of my questions so I no longer felt anxious about the upcoming procedure. The morning of my surgery he also stopped by to walk me through the surgery and recovery again to make sure I had no questions beforehand. It's been about a week since recovery and I've had no complications; recovery has been straightforward and how he explained it would go. They're located right in the heart of Winter Park right on the second floor above The Imperial. I was greeted right away by a sweet man named Mark at the front desk as he offered me a beverage. I chose white wine... because wine not? Filling out paperwork was a breeze. I was guided to my room where I got to meet the nurse practitioner who did my Botox treatment. What can I say? She has the most gentle hands and she was very professional. My main goal was to target my forehead and crows feet but I ended up getting a lip flip as well. I could still get my annual work done even though they had no paperwork other than from last year and she would simply call my physician directly Monday AM to reconcile the administrative side, saving me the hassle of a reschedule. Horrible Staff- Please....Stay Far away from this place....Nighmare- Please read!!…read more As a new patient, who was scheduled out, to see Dr. Melvin on June 16, 2020, at 3:30 PM, I discovered that at 11:26 AM, on 6-16-2020, that I missed a call from their office...Ok...fair enough so far......However, the real "fun" began, when I called back at 2:00 PM and spoke with Stacey, most rude receptionist, who copped a huge attitude, when I told her that the message received at 11:26 AM, from David, set a bad precedent, as he stated that if he does not hear from me right away that he is going to have to cancel my appointment set for today. Stacey then told me that they called me again and again on my cell and that I was supposed to have called them back yesterday, as they have to do a "full profile work-up", prior to me coming into their offices....what nonsense, and especially not to have known this when I initially set up my appointment....very very reactive, indeed. While talking with her on the phone, I told her that I just saw where they called twice at 12:00 PM yesterday, yet David, of their practice, did not leave any message, and as a result I blocked the 3rd call at 12:01 PM, as I thought it was a robocaller. This Stacey was extremely belligerent, accused me of yelling at her, along with basically inferring I am a liar, as she rudely barked, "I have worked with David 10+ years and I know he left you a message yesterday", Seems to me that "The apple doesn't fall far from the tree." What nerve to take such a tone with a potential new patient. Seems Stacey needs to take multiple lessons for the true meaning of what " Real Customer Service" is all about. I immediately called back to complain to Dr. Melvin and their Practice Manager, yet conveniently, the voicemail pickup up my call. Please please do not visit this practive unless you want to be treated most rudely, and "like a number" by a most pompous staff, who "scratches each others back" and does not care how they treat their patients, and or prospective patients, via their way of "welcoming a new patient" to their practice". Unfortunately, I had no choice but to write this review, as it is apparent that these people are way to pompous to care, and that a patient s nothing more than a $$$ sign to the practice. Yes, I admit that I was "drawn in" by what I felt were good Google reviews, yet the real true "Proof in the Pudding" is my experience with their Office staff, mainly Stacey....Stay, far far away........their are way much better choices elsewhere!
