Ambience/service: while the place is small, their vibe is warm and welcoming with local art displayed and a very friendly staff. They also have an open kitchen which I liked a lot - gives it that local Cali fresh food deli feel :) Food: they have an array of deli sandwiches, breakfast sandwiches, soup of the day, coffee, and fresh smoothies with an option to put in whey protein (big plus for me). I ordered the turkey & colby sandwich on rye which comes with chips and a pickle - all of it was delicious and fresh! Would I recommend and return? It's an absolutely from me!! I can't wait to try their smoothies and other sandwiches!!

I was able to customize my order very easily, and I appreciated the convenience. Our food and shakes came out fairly quickly. The burger patties were juicy, and the burgers were made correctly. Their fries remain among my favorites for burger chains, even without having to load or spice them in any way. Their shakes are made and taste the ways I want them to be, though I did notice that there was a difference of as much as 1" of shake in various glasses we received. The station for things such as condiments, napkins, plastic-ware, etc., was out of a few things. Even worse was the men's room, which needed some repairs and cleaning. But even so, these things would not be enough to deter me from coming back here were I in the area again.

I had heard lately that Taco Bell had really upped their game for us non-meat eaters and when the opportunity presented itself last weekend, I decided to give them a try. Holy, mother of the fast food gods. What have I been doing to myself? Depriving my body of this delicious goodness. I was legit shook to my core. To give perspective, growing up in Zanesville I've dined and driven through this Taco Bell too many times to count. It's really the only one I've consistently gone to in my entire life. The service, even ten years ago, is typically good, even at 2am during what they like to call "fourth meal" hour. When I went last week it was fast, even during the lunch rush on a Saturday, and my food was piping hot. The black bean options will definitely have me back here. Well I mistakenly decided to order a pizza from this Pizza Hut which I certainly will never do again. The pizza was super dry, the toppings looked like they were cooked twice as long as they should have been, and as an added bonus a worker was standing literally right outside the door smoking. I don't care if someone is smoking on a break but maybe move a foot or so away from the door. That's probably the last time I'll get Pizza Hit from anywhere!

Let me start by saying the pizza might have actually been pretty good had it contained even a hint of sauce on it. I'm not one to over dramatize, so believe me when I say, there was no sauce on these pizzas. I actually checked our receipt to see if they had mistakenly typed 'no sauce' into our order. Okay okay, so there was what looked like the least effort put into adding sauce. By that I mean it looks like the Hut team member took the empty sauce ladle and smeared it across the dough. That is no exaggeration. It was so dry that a full swig of water was required with each bite just to get it down. I bet when Mr. Hut Mgr makes his heavy fisted personal pies at the end of his shift it's scandalously laden with copious amounts of sauce AND toppings. When I placed our order on their website I noticed that when I was paying by card, the form boldly solicited for a 'tip for the crew', which I didn't include. I even half jokingly said to my husband, do you think they'll make us sh*tty pizzas because we didn't tip. Surely they wouldn't do that! But, silly me, I hold others to the same level of integrity as I try to uphold myself. Is that why we got that dry cracker of a pizza, because we didn't tip on an already hefty price tag for pizza? The thing is, these Hut employees are paid a full wage. They aren't waitresses / waiters busting their humps for abbreviated wages that require supplementation via tips. And we picked it up, so there was no driver to tip. The virtual tip jar on their website is pretty brazen. However it would've been forgettable had they just made us some edible pizzas.
