I really needed to go to the bathroom, saw Wendy's, and figured I would try their new chicken on a biscuit and GO there. Bathroom was clean with "One Person at a Time" sign. Social distancing was excellent with only one table inside, designated standing areas in line and all employees were wearing masks. Apparently their Drive-Through customers come first because all employees were working on drive through orders. I waited a few minutes and a lovely woman took my order, except the chicken and biscuit were only available during breakfast hours and it was already one o clock. So I order a new Jalapeño Popper burger and stepped to the side. I looked at the receipt and it said I ordered a Pretzel Pub burger. I made the change in my order but why did this happen? Wendy's used to be good. I liked the 4 for $4 specials. It has gone downhill since previous owner has left last year . Expect to wait a long time even if there isn't a line. I live close by, and was a regular customer here for years. As of recent, I have had nothing but rude service, long drive through waits (even if there is nobody ahead of me) and CONSTANT errors in my order. Today was the last straw, when it took me 20+ minutes to get a 4for4, a Dave's double with fries, and two drinks. Guess what? I got the drinks, the burgers, 2 chicken nuggets, and one small container of French fries. Previous negative experiences included having an employee throw a drink onto my lap, being charged for things that I didn't order or receive, recieveing the complete wrong order, and constant cold fries / nuggets. When I lived in West Haverstraw, I reviewed this location. For some reason, the review disappeared. This had to be one of the slowest Wendy's in the world. Do not go here if you are very hungry. If I'm being honest I had a love hate relationship with Wendy's the food tends to be inconsistent but recently I've had this one sauce and I'm not sure if it the spice induced fever or the fact that its midnight but this ish is bussin bussin. Wendy's put her left cheek in this sauce, specifically referring to the sweat and sour sauce. I could eat buckets of it and it might be the only thing redeeming Wendys for now. I usually don't blast every bad fast food service but this is the WORST I've ever experienced. I went through the drive thru of this Wendy's yesterday and ordered a 4 for 4. They asked all appropriate questions for the order : junior bacon cheese, sweet and sour, and fruit punch no ice were my answers. The wait was about 10-15 minutes which I didn't complain about because I used to work in fast food and I know things can get busy. When we approached the window they never said the total, we paid with a debit card. We even reminded the Spanish boy in the window to "please make sure there's sweet and sour in the bag" "he said "sweet and sour ? Ok!" They returned the card, we received the food and left. When we got home. I can honestly say we didn't pay attention to the food. Because it's when I started searching for my straw that's when I first realized they got the drink wrong. I was like oh man they've messed up the drink. And it was no biggie to me. I was like fine. I thought it was lemonade at first glance then when I opened it to drink it, because there was no straw, I realized it was old sprite. I say old because it was watered down with absolutely no carbonation, no bubbles. I then opened my bag to eat my fries, they were all old also. I said well damn.. let just skip those and get to the nuggets. And there's no sauce ... I then took a deep breath. Got some sauce from my house and said it's ok I'm just not gonna go back there. Till I opened my burger and it is dry meat that had to be made 6 hours ago, with cheese. Not a slice of bacon in sight!! Not a bit of mayo or tomato or lettuce. My first job ever was at Wendy's so this had me heated because I know what I should've received. So like an angry customer I go to the receipt which I'm surprised they gave! But it was the WRONG RECIEPT for things I never ordered nor I received. The receipt had a spicy chicken on it !?? I was craving Wendy's tonight, so I decided to treat myself (as I rarely eat fast food) I gave my order, pulled up to the window, and everything was okay; until I met Alejandra. I would have assumed she was mute, since she only spoke in hand gestures. However, I also noticed her working the driveway window. Okay, she's not mute. ZOOOOO-WEEE-MAMA is this the most incompetent drive-thru staff I have ever encountered. Somehow, these employees can manage to mess up even the simplest of orders. I ordered a bunch of food tonight, including a 4 for 4. Somehow, they managed to forget the chicken nuggets and gave me about half a container of fries. Then, another persons order was 10 spicy and 10 regular nuggets and they managed to give me 8 of one and 7 of the other type. Honestly, I do not know why I keep coming here. The staff was incredibly friendly, the bathroom was clean, and the burger was fantastic. It sounds silly, but it was nice & hot, and tasted really fresh.
