This Wendy's cooks all the burger patties and the fries in advance and just lets them sit there until someone orders them. So the employees get to play around and you get to eat a really, really dry, lukewarm, shitty burger and shriveled up nasty French fries. They're also out of ice, medium cups, and any container into which you might put a little ketchup. Somehow the gold peak tea from their fountain drink machine is absolutely rancid. We had a horrible experience with the service here, but the food was pretty good overall. We placed an order through the Wendy's mobile app. At the drive-thru speaker, we were greeted with, "Welcome to Wendy's." I waited, as it's typical for someone to say, "How may I help you?" or something similar. I gave them space, as I thought maybe they were helping another customer at the window. After a minute or two, I asked if anyone was there. The lady said, "Yes, I *said*, 'Welcome to Wendy's!'" I apologized and said that I didn't hear them say anything after that. She then sighed and said something like, "You could have said your order already," in a gruff tone of voice. After I said I had a mobile order, I was told to drive around. My wife commented about how rude they were, and I agreed. At the window, I'm not sure if it was the same employee as over the speaker, but they were also rude. They handed me our drink without a word. After giving me the sacks of food, they said, "That should be it." I would have expected a "Thank you," or something a little more polite. My drink was supposed to be a regular Dr Pepper, but it tasted like the worst diet soft drink ever created by man. Regarding the food, the pieces of lettuce on the burger were teeny pieces smaller than the pickles. Otherwise, most of our food was tasty and just what we ordered. I eat at Wendy's back home in Texas constantly, and if it weren't for those good experiences, I wouldn't come to a Wendy's again. I'm the only customer at the counter. The dining area only had 2 people dining in. I ordered a Dave's Double. I set the money on the cash register side of the counter. She walked away and started serving drive through. She returned about 3 minutes later, and just moved the money to the other side of the cash register, and then walked away again. She never placed my order. She just walked away and continued to serve drive through as if they are the most important people in the world. This is the most out of order unorganized Wendy's i have ever been to. We waited 30 minutes for two 4for4 meals. Another set of customers waited 45 minutes for a freakn salad and a 4for4. They were rude as hell and the manager looked liked she couldn't do anything with the workers. They were doing everything but making orders and fixing food. The Managwr yelled at a cook and told him to get off the phone and he clocked out. When we finally got our food, the order was wrong. The floors and tables were also nasty. I don't know if I have the right location , I am referring to Wendy's at exit 72 off of route 20 east. I feel so strongly about this location I have to post somewhere. I tried to contact corporate directly but you need your receipt with the store I D # printed at the top. Take note of that, when they called my order they took my receipt . First please note I strongly feel more abused by having to give1 Star. I would give minus if I could. We walked into a large line. There is one register that snakes around a wall, so as you stand you can not read the menu board. I do not go to Wendy's so I could not figure out what I wanted in advance. The board was so confusing with all these deals but some how even ordering the special had a surprisingly high bill. During our loooooong wait we used the rest rooms. They were the worst I have ever been in. Filthy does not do it justice, unknown stuff was dripping off the walls and paper dispensers. Toilet tissue was all over the floors as well as dirty baby diapers. My husband experienced equally filthy conditions and we actually left and used the gas station across the way. We got the $2.99 double stack, don't know how we had a $20.00 bill, but we did not know what to really expect. They were awful, measly awful tasteless burgers. Then I saw a poster in the window exiting the restaurant that made me look up exactly what we should have got. Well we had no tomato , no lettuce,no mayo, one had no cheese, one had a slice of cheese , one ring of onion, 2 pickles, mustard, no ketchup. Took about 25 minutes.
