I went through a salad phase at Wendy's. And for a while there, I was hooked on their spicy chicken sandwiches. As I remember it, they had some pretty tasty chicken tenders. And in the 90s, I was obsessed with their baked potatoes. I can't figure out why I stopped going! I *can tell you, though, why I've come back: BREAKFAST!!!! I was craving bacon one morning-and I remembered that Wendy's had it. So, off I went. The breakfast menu is large and inspired. I decided to try the maple chicken with bacon sandwich. Lemme tell you, this is what morning was made for. Sooooo good! I also ordered the roasted potatoes. This spice was just right-the texture was perfect-somehow dense and fluffy plus crispy at the same time-and not at all greasy. They give you that nice warm feeling, without feeling overly full. I've ordered these two things in two very different locations recently and the quality is consistent. I'm a fan! And I'm eager to check out other menu items-all day. This Wendy's is at Adamo and Falkenberg in the Brandon area... across from the Home Depot, near the Salvation Army. I've never been inside. It's a small parking lot, but there are a couple of shady spots in back. Service has been adequate and fast. I'll be back! read more

This was the worst Wendy's I've ever been to. I ordered two ten piece nuggets to split between my kids and I for a small snack. They gave me 7 in one box and 8 in the other. When I went inside to nicely ask for the rest of the nuggets, the woman went to the basket counted out 5 spicy nuggets and smirked at her co-worker. This location has been consistently closed early for four months now.... The listed lobby dining hrs are supposed to be till 11 pm and they literally have the doors locked before 7:30. They claim it's due to being short staffed but the lack of initiative to get the positions filled is apparent after months of this continuing.... When they are open it's is pulling teeth to get anyone to come to the counter and take your order and once stood for 15 min to the point I missed the opportunity to get breakfast. First i had a issue ith the app, i get free 10 piece & the one who took the order, idk y its not working, we have nothing to do with the app. She had to call a manager over to figure out why it wasn't working. Does the owner look at this? They lied about being closed 35 minutes before closing. The statement was that one of the employees had a medical emergency. The problem here is, it's a Saturday night and they were actually turning business away to Mc Donald's across the street so that they could leave early. We passed through here on our way to the airport and were looking for a quick bite. We had a bit of a drive ahead of us to get to Tampa so we elected to go inside in order to make use of the facilities; it was a bit later in the evening so I can understand that a few things might be missed off like ice machine restocks, but the whole experience was largely sub-par. The person taking orders was fine enough, we got our orders in and received our drink cups. Following that, our food came out fairly quickly and was perfectly serviceable Wendy's fare, which is on the higher end of fast food in my estimation. Where they really fell down was on the self-service touchscreen drink machine. Again, I can understand that later in the evening, when the lobby will be closing soon and less customers come inside, it's better to focus on the drive-through experience. We saw that they'd put up a sign on one of the two drink machines proclaiming that there was no ice on that one. We thus elected to use the other and found that not only was it also out of ice, but everything came out of it at room temperature so it was quite an unpleasant, unrefreshing experience. The staff also looked put off when we requested ice to make the drinks more palatable, unaware that both machines in the lobby had no ice and apparently also that the system was not functioning properly. I'd expect anything to come out of a machine to at least be somewhat cool, but I've no idea how exactly they work or how exactly everything pertaining to drink service in the lobby can be so unmonitored and unattended that even getting a Coca-Cola (always marketed as best when ice cold) is a frothing room-temperature debacle. I'll give this place a miss next time. Or bring my own ice, I guess. read more

I am a doordasher. To be very honest this is the first review I've ever left w a restaurant, because I normally have enough patience to understand how things can be when it is late hours. But During regular business hours this store had its dining room closed (after 10, rightfully) but also it's drive thru closed. I pulled up to the drive thru window after it's talk box explained they were closed (it was 11:20, drive thru hours are until 1), and was ignored by employees until I had to get out of my car and knock on the window, which then was rudely communicated thru the window (did not open the window) that "they don't got it" (referring to my order.) I was then told that I was sent to the wrong Wendy's which is impossible because doordash uses a navigation system to direct its drivers. I mentioned that, and the manager that was speaking to me thru the window rolls her eyes at me and walks off. Did not come back. Customer service was trash. I know we all got lives but I'm workin too. Communication is the first step in customer service. It being late is that much more reason to make sure the people that come to your store are taken care of. I won't be taking an order from this store again. read more

I seem to have consistent experiences at Wendy's and today was no different. I was able to place my order at the drive-through speaker without having to repeat myself, there was little delay at the pick-up window, and my order was correct. They even managed to get the two napkins into the bag. Nothing fantastic - the gal at the window was efficient - but good. It was A-OK. It is a slightly odd exit as they are at the signal light. Bought South West Guacamole spicy chicken sandwich...there was something wrong with it. There was bitterness in the cheese, slimy mush texture in the fried chicken patty, (and no it wasn't the guacamole because I looked at the chicken patty after I bit it and it looked like chicken was mush in the middle but crusty on the outside) the patty was oily and greasy. It's a chicken breast and when you fry it it shouldn't be mushy slimy in texture. FDA needs to visit for food safety handling check. I hope my stomach will hold up to two bites I swallowed... I went through drive thru at this location last week and my credit card information was stolen and used that evening. I would never have been able to pin point where my card number was stolen if it wasn't brand new and the only place I used it. Watch your card, make sure the cashier doesn't walk away with it like she did with mine (probably to take a pic of it). I have no doubt this is where it was stolen. Management should be aware. -Horrible; just horrible service!!!!!! -Terribly unkept bathrooms My friends and I went through the drive through today, 10/6/19, around 8:30 pm to place our order. The drive-through attendant asked us if we were paying by cash or credit card. When we said "credit card", she told us that their credit card machine was down and that they could only take cash orders. We were about to leave, but decided to park to use the bathroom. After exciting the respective bathrooms, my friends and I commented on how dirty the bathrooms were, including toilets and urinals, and how there was no soap in the soap dispenser. As if that was not bad enough, as we were leaving the premises, we heard the cashier tell someone that they could only use cash at the register, but could use the kiosks to place their order with a credit card. We were in disbelief because we were about to drive fifteen minutes away due to the drive-through attendant not informing us about this option. When I asked to speak to the manager, she was kind but really did not do much to attempt to remediate the inconvenience. She just told the attendant to let everyone else know about the kiosk option. We placed our orders. I stepped away to talk to my friend at the kiosk (because my order was the only one paid in cash), when I came back (not even a minute later, they gave my friend their order but mine was not there (I ordered way before they did and only chicken nuggets). I had to ask about my order and the cashier claimed that they put my order away because they couldn't find me... the kiosk was steps away and not far away at all to miss someone calling my name. The cashier straight-up lies to me that they had called out my name (which is a very unusual name... very hard to miss). Then I was told I had to wait for the chicken nuggets to be fried. She was not very helpful nor attentive, neither was the manager (who was standing there the entire time). When my friend asked for extra sauce, the cashier looked at him in as if he was bothering her. Went through the drive thru at 11:30 pm after a concert at Florida amphitheater (Brad Paisley). Placed order and while sitting in line a black male walked behind the car at the cashier window and once the car left he approached the window and placed an order. Money was transferred and product was given. I am a local firefighter and have been to this same location as well as others and my rescue unit does not fit in the drive thru and have been denied service late at night because walk ups are not allowed. I asked to speak to the manager and the female working the window said she was the manager. I told her my concern and she did not have a clear response other than she is not suppose to allow that. If this same person were a white male in raggedy clothes he would have not been served. This is a prime example of reverse discrimination and racism. I would love for someone from corporate to contact me as I am also originally from Ohio and Wendy's was my first job as a teenager. This was unacceptable and needs to be corrected. The parking lot here it's very small, all the times I've been here I've always done drive through so I have no idea how this location may be inside. I'm not a fan of fast food so as at other locations I always look for the best choices at any Wendy's my to go food it's actually Chili or the salad with a Chili topping.
