C The sausage we were served was black and hard. She couldn't cut it with a knife. The toast could hardly be considered toast at all. It was very lightly toasted on one side - when I mentioned this to the server she said - yes, our toaster sometimes does that. IMO if it sometimes happens get it fixed, We like our bacon crispy but not THAT crispy! The coffee was terrible. All for the princely sum of $37. Not recommended Cornwall deserves better - it used to be better - whatever happened looks like neglect.

The coffee is really good, and I would place the taste somewhere in the middle of Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks. I had the pleasure of enjoying a box of "Timbits" with the folks I was with. Timbits are what they call the donut holes known as Munchkins at Dunks. Having these for the first time was pretty interesting. I'm used to the standard Munchkins (choco, glazed, plain, jelly, etc) so when I had my first strawberry filled, sour cream glazed Timbits it was a heavenly treat for my palate. I think the coffee is good but I measure my coffee by dunks and Starbucks so I can't say it's 5 stars as I like Dunkins better.

4.5 stars We were in…read moreneed of some lunch and this was one of the places that came up in my search. There was only a couple of tables that were occupied when we arrived for a late lunch. Since we'd never eaten here before I asked the cashier if we ordered there or we'd get table service. The woman that was working seemed annoyed at my question and said she'd show us to a table. We ordered seafood chowder, fish & chips, and a lobster roll. When the server/cashier came around with glasses of water and utensils she still seemed a bit huffy. The seafood chowder was amazing! Most of the time chowder at restaurants are very watery and there's only small pieces of seafood floating around in the bowl. This chowder was very chunky and absolutely filled with huge pieces of seafood. This was my first lobster roll and I was not disappointed. It was so tasty, not too much mayo, large pieces of lobster all in a soft roll. The fish and chips wasn't spectacular like the other two dishes but good enough and the crinkle cut fries were perfect. Perhaps the server wasn't having a good day but eventually her mood lightened up just a bit. I'm not sure if having the manager was sitting at a table going through numbers/reports contributed to her improved service.

The menu is very diverse-Chinese food, snack bar food (burgers, chicken strips, poutine, and some seafood (lobster rolls! Among others). Look at the menu I'm posting! We got bacon lover's pontine, a lobster roll, and had to try their homemade egg roll and spring roll. The lobster roll was delicious, as were the fries. Poutine was very good and toppings were generous. I'd prefer my bacon more crispy but I know that's personal preference and should have asked prior. Egg roll and spring rolls were good but lived in the shadow of the lobster roll. So I'd skip them next time. There's a screened porch or outdoor bar to dine at and watch the scenery. Owners were friendly and welcoming. They also have a large ice cream menu but I didn't photograph it. I'd definitely do it again!
