#97-2021 Been 2 years since I put in last review dropping down two stars unfortunately to one. They're no longer open 24 hours at the Wendy's in this pilot they close down at 10:00 at night 7 days a week. They're not only understaffed they're under qualified. I came in for a simple quick to go easy thing six chicken nuggets a junior fry and that's it. Ummm...how in the hell do ya fuk up nuggets?? These things came out of the fryer They were supposed to have been nice and fresh They looked like they just came out of the grease but they didn't keep them in long enough. The fries were cooked fresh they were kept in too damn long. So I walked back out to the truck open up my bag and pull out the nuggets had my honey mustard that I like dipped in and the nuggets were kind of cold and sort of nasty The fries were past Burnt and crunchy. This is a terrible Wendy's located in this pilot now I didn't even take a picture I was so disgusted but what I will definitely say is the looks of the customers waiting very long for their food by what seemed to be incompetent people that didn't know what the hell they were doing unfortunately. Another reason why I usually hit up McDonald's or Subway 13 miles back at the Love's at Waddy or the Burger King over at the thorntons just north of Louisville 40 minutes away in Memphis Indiana because it's a whole lot better. Drive thru was busy food still didn't come out fresh. Fries taste like they've been sitting in grease, inside was clean though.

This is by far the worst place that we have ever gone. We placed a huge order with lots of 4x4. Let me start off with the burgers being old and super crispy as in burnt. I wouldn't serve them in the chili if it was me. The bacon on ever burger wasn't cook at all (raw). The Manager acted like he was on drugs or something was going on. Phenomenal service 2 days in a row!!!!! Jim the manager on the second day (Sunday April 18th and Saturday April 17th at 5 pm both times my card would not work!! I came back to try again and yet again it didn't work. (Probably my banks issue) but both times this particular location treated us with dignity and utmost respect! And by the way - in doing this; they didn't let my grandchild down because she loves the frostys! I don't understand why this place has such a low review. I didn't see anything wrong, I walked in at 11 pm, in our town our Wendy's close right at 11. So when I walked over to the worker cleaning I asked her what time they close and she goes "actually never! We are always open." So I walked over to the register and wanted on another worker to come take my order. This very handsome worker welcomed me, and took my order. My husband loves chili, is Wendy's is the only place that sells it the way he likes it. So my first problem was when I told the guy I wanted Coke Zero, the machine actually was out of Coke Zero. Wait for it, here's the best part. Th guy got me a brand new cup and gave me another drink. Then took a dollar off my order (since that was the only thing he could do). When I received my food the guy asked if I wanted any sauce, and I said yes. But then I mention "the sauce isn't for me I promise." The guy laughed and make the best comment back "hey I wasn't going to say anything. You just earned more respect from me then." I laughed! This is by far my favorite Wendy's i ever stopped by. Did I mention, they had their health checkup sheet with a 98% written on it hanging on their wall? So this place deserves a better review, fresh fries and delicious chill. Wendy's located inside a pilot gas station near the outlet shoppe malls in simpsonville. Attached to a trucker gas station so crowds are hit and miss. The lobby seems to be pretty dirty and the service is horribly slow and workers overall have negative attitudes and lack of customer service skills. I'll give a 2 star just because I enjoy the taste if Wendy's food. read more

Ok... So yes I am reviewing a fast food place. With the exception of Chick-fil-A my standards for fast food is pretty low. However this particular Wendy's in my opinion is one of the better fast food places around. I usually only stop during lunchtime on my way running errands. The food is generally always hot and fresh and the service is always really great. Like really good! Today I had Connor in the drive-through and not only did he get my order right but seemed genuinely happy to be doing what he was doing. He greeted me with a smile, please and thank and sent me on my way wishing me a great weekend. Great job to the lunch time management!!! I ate here once before I was a Yelp user. See Samara's review for that horrific tale. I made the mistake of forgetting that this was the Wendy's where they didn't care that I pulled a hair out of my mouth after taking a bite of burger. I stopped with a coworker. Well, no hair in my food this time. Instead, the service was miserably slow. We waited a couple of minutes before the cashier appeared. Then she took my coworker's order, and paused to make his drink. Man, there was no hustle in her moves. Then I ordered, and she (not so charmingly) told the guy behind me to wait while she made my drink. Both our orders were "for here," and they both came out in bags. The food was adequate fast food. Fries seemed like the oil may have been past its change-by date, but they were hot. In the dining room, we were treated to the Cinnabon employee (there's a kiosk in the gas station this Wendy's is attached to) making bad beastiality jokes to a semi truck driver (who he hopefully knew!). I really have to try to remember that Bob Evans is the only good restaurant at this exit. read more

I've never had a bad experience at this Wendy's other than once when the drive thru was closed but that was more situational than service related. This evening after cleaning my closet all day I started craving a McDonald's McFlurry so I drove to the Simpsonville McDonald's only to be told the ice cream machine was "down". Right.... I decide a Frosty will hit the spot and I've never been told the machine was "down" at a Wendy's so I swing into the drive thru at the Simpsonville location and place my order for the kid size chocolate Frosty. On the other end I hear this deep voice say "come on down". I began to feel as if I was playing the Price is Right as I "came on down" and much to my surprise I was indeed a prize winner! If I were able to give this no stars, I would. I also don't usually give fast food reviews. We all know what eating at Wendy's, taco bell and McDonald's is like. first, the guy at the counter seemed to not know what was going on. After a 10 minute wait in line, we ordered. I got a number one and my husband got a small drink, jr. Bacon cheeseburger and a small fry. The first thing that was off was I ordered an unsweetened tea, but I received a coke. The fries were cold. AND then my husband found a hair in his burger. He pulled it from his mouth. He's pretty upset at this point and just wants his money back on the burger. He tells the guy at the counter who then just walks away. The manager says nothing to my husband other than cash or credit. He doesn't apologize or make any other comnent. He puts the money back on our card and lays down the card with the receipt on the counter and walks away. My husband I'd livid at this point and starts telling people just walking in that he found a hair in the food and people are rude and they shouldn't eat here. I do not recommend eating at this Wendy's. In dact, there is a Culver's and a dairy queen on this exit Try them. Terrible! I have stopped here a time or two for lunch between Louisville and Lexington. Stopped today for lunch. Horrible! Ordered inside. Young lady at the counter was polite but was in NO HURRY! TIME CONSUMING MISTAKE! Picture this....driving along the highway at 3:06 AM when my quiet, peaceful truck turns into a system alert telling me I need DEF and windshield wiper fluid. Somehow this small ding wakes 2 toddlers and a hangry husband! First exit I see, there's a pilot gas station with a 24 hour Wendy's attached/holy grail! I quickly pullover, jump out and run in, starting at Wendy's. To keep this novel, a short story...they were less than excited after finally deciding to greet me, I start to order and the Wendy's employee quickly tells me I cannot order anything off the grill, as they clean all grills from 3AM-4AM (not a wise business practice for a burger joint that has MULTIPLE grills). So I'm forced to order all fried food because when I requested a BAKED potato, I was told their over was broken. So, I receive my order after a 15 minute wait and luckily check the bag before pulling away...it was wrong. I run back inside for another 10 minute wait and while waiting, I notice an employee flirting with some guy over the counter. He requests a baked potato, and to my surprise, she walks right over to the Cinnabon oven in the Pilot, and brings back a freshly baked potato. I blow it off because at this point I'm too exhausted and have starving kids waiting on me. After 45 minutes, we finally depart and start eating. The chicken sandwiches were covered in soggy lettuce and bread, luckily I had asked for the fries to be recooked because they were literally so soggy, they didn't even stand up and we're stuck together. This was by far the worst Wendy's I've ever been to, and as a full time traveling family, we will not be back and hope to warn others. Take other reviewers advice on other food options, or wait for another exit! Anything would be better than a hamburgerless, soggy, 45 minute trip to this Wendy's! read more

The absolute WORST customer service I have ever experienced in any fast food restaurant. It took 10 minutes just for the staff to prepare fries. After waiting for so long, the lady in the window just handed me my food, without even giving a free item, or even acknowledging the fact that I waited so long for fries.
