The fish itself was a solid portion and good quality cod. Cocktail sauce was solid and tarter was an optional(which I don't prefer). Slaw was an alternate side and was excellent and cut the fattiness of the fried fish as it was vinegar based. As usual, fries are an option too. Finally and as insinuated by the name, there's quite a large beer selection that ranges from national brands to locals, so there's something for everyone. Good casual place and the other food there(chicken tenders and "boneless wings") are exceptional.

I tend to like hand it fries with the skin still on, but the fries aren't very thick and if they're over cooked at all, the skins can get tough and sort of overpower the flavor of the fries. I will say that they do offer a nice portion size on this too, and when I ordered a side of gravy, it was pretty tasty. The apps as well are ok. I've tried the provolone, potato skins, cod pieces, fried ravioli and none of them stood out as being terrible or great. The biggest thing for me is that every time I've gone, the bartenders have always been friendly and the orders have always been correct, even if I've asked for substitutions, extra tartar, etc. it's not a large place and there hasn't ever been a lot of staff any time I've gone, so I do really appreciate the effort they put in to make sure your order is right. That alone is worth an extra star to me.
