My boyfriend and I always come here for our little dinner dates, but changing my mind on our place due to staff, it was 9pm when we arrived and we came in ready to order the usual when suddenly the staff were arguing to each other about who didn't lock the door, then proceeds to kick us out, saying they are closing and can't help us, one of the workers stepped forward and said Nicely said "no no let me take their order they are already here" and the rest got mad at here and told us to leave. It was 9pm on a FRIDAY and your hours say 10AM-1AM, no sign on the door for any reason about times, and it wasn't even a holiday. Changing our location to eat. Rude employees and not even a team. If you don't want to work there then go somewhere else it's that simple. But don't take it out on customers and the team members because you're not happy, if you have no reason to close besides you just don't want to continue working, then find somewhere else. read more

Yes, I'm giving a fast food place 5 stars because this particular chain and location is the best when it comes to fast food. I'm always impressed by the quality of produce in the burgers. You don't usually expect fast food places to have good produce but Wendy's does. Their buns are always so soft and everything always tastes fresh. This is my go to place for fast food. read more

This one of these has been here since I was a kid (4 decades) the inside has changed several times, I remember the salad bar... The thing that's great about this location is consistency. The food is always cooked when you order it, generous portions, Wendy's quality, and the workers... Especially at the drive-thru, seem to be very friendly. Went there for dinner tonight and got four huge meals for less than $40 the hamburgers which were doubles are delicious! The fries are hot and perfect! The Chocolate Frosty's are good! So on this lazy Sunday we decided to use door dash for Wendy's. I'll admit, it may be close to if not the worst attempt as a parent to feed my family. I made sure I put everything on the notes. I checked it twice before I submitted it. Apparently the way they door dash is there, the driver goes in and tells them the order. If I had known this I would not have used the service and just went drive thru. I felt even worse when a lady got out of her car to bring us our food to the door and she was like 8 1/2 months pregnant. But after every burger we ordered was made incorrectly, I didn't feel bad for her that she was attempting to make a living working for Door Dash. In fact, I hope she reads the door dash complaint and understand she's not doing what's best for her future and needs to start making better decisions to prepare to be a mother. I got half my money back from door dash so I said fine, I'll take the food back myself. I took all the meals back, to get warm fries and warm nuggets. Upon arrival I showed them the order on my phone and the notes that were under each item. I said "Door Dash probably doesn't make you take a test to work for them" I shot a smirk and got one back from the dude at the counter. So they took my bags and said we'll get that right out for you. They weren't super busy. Normal in my opinion. I watched the kid pack up food and did everything one thought at a time, like he really had to focus to make sure he had money to renew his X-Box Live Account next week. He struggled but people pointed out what they were missing. He never replied with sorry or here you go. Just "oh" or "yeah". After 3-4 minutes they gave me a bag with just the burgers in it. I said I gave you ALL the food back, so I can have all of it the same temperature when I take it home. He looked at me puzzled. I thought to myself... I bet he eats cold French Fries and doesn't see a problem with it. So I said I just need two four piece nuggets and two fries. He said okay. I watched iGameSoHard09 grab fries and nuggets from the back like they were hot and ready's from Lil' C's Hot and Ready contraptions... but they weren't for me. They were for an order before me and after me... I started to pace and gave out heavy sighs that customers and employees could clearly hear. Some customers shook their head and smirked at me as to say "This is America, we're trying." I shook my head back as to say "You're eating here too. I hope you check your bag before you leave." Then I moved to wait as close as I could to the register and just make everyone feel awkward. The cash register dude says we're dropping more nuggets, should be a minute and 30 seconds. I said okay with some confusion in my voice and a look you could find if searching for gifs by typing in "okay?". So the only thing I got were piping hot fries and chicken nuggets to go with my now luke warm burgers. I hope that delivery driver from Door Dash is not giving birth to a child that was conceived with any of the workers from the front counter. That kid would be a certified mouth breather for sure. Walking around in people's way for 55 years and not using their blinker nearly enough. Then I returned to my watered down soda. This is all stems from my own laziness and is possibly a life lesson. Been here 3 times, all 3 times either my order is wrong when i get home or there are items missing. Usually do not get a receipt either. Tonight the girl in the drive thru was very short with her attitude and rude. Drove back to exchange my sandwich since apparently spicy sounds like grilled and was given a new sandwich. Wendy's has been around for decades for a reason. They make good food. I don't go here a lot, but I know when I do go that I can get a good Frosty and excellent fries. Very bad experience in the food tonight. Usually I'm always pleased with my food but this time was ridiculous! I got the chili this time and there was plastic all in it. I seen one piece and thought ok maybe it was just a mistake but there was more little pieces of a straw wrapper in my chili like if someone ripped up the wrapper and just mixed it in with the food. I ordered two kids meals and two chicken sandwiches. They put the fries and apples in the kids bags along with the fu activity but they failed to put the cheeseburger or nuggets. I haven't had Wendy's in a long time, tonight I had a craving for it...now I remember why I haven't gone in awhile. The man at the drive thru was very impatient, I pulled up for my order and I received my drinks, one of them was the wrong one. I sat there waiting for my food for a good 5-7 minutes. Bleh. (all I had were 3 hamburgers and 2 fries) They kept repeating my order back to me to make sure they had it all, When I finally got my order it was all crammed into one bag. When I got home, the hamburger buns were stale and the hamburger meat itself was season-less. Yum! :( and this was all at 9:15pm so the dining area was closed. Yeah, I am giving a fast food place five stars. I come here frequently and every time I get the Asian cashew salad and occasionally a frosty. The salads are incredible for a fast food salad. The Asian salad I get even has edamame on it which I have never seen on a fast food salad ever! The drive through has a long line during lunch but surprisingly goes by very fast! Took the oldest to her orthodontist appointment, after getting her braces tightened her teeth hurt, so I figure I will get her a frosty to help with some of the pain. Roll up to the drive thru and proceed to sit there for 5 or 6 minutes where we finally order the 2 frosty's. Pull up to the window and the manager says "WHAT U ORDER?!?!?!?!?" I laughed and said 2 frostees and when she hands us the frostees they aren't the size we ordered. She says "DEEZ R ARE SMALLZ AND DEEZ R ARE MEDUUUUUUMS", I've got no time to argue so we get the frostees and leave. We just went thru Wendy's drive thru on McHenry ave in Modesto CA at 820pm We just ordered 50 dollars worth of food for the kids after a long day of working in backyard. So we get to the window and realized we forgot my hamburger combo. We told the guy to add it to our Order. He comes back and said the manger said we can't do that. No ordering at the window. We told the guy seriously and he said yeah. As she is yelling at us to the back of the line to order It. She was yelling at us the whole time. She also told us to stop acting like 4 years olds. We finally got another manager to take our order and fix It. Probably cause we were holding up the line. I seriously hope you guys can fix the customer service at this location as I'm not the only one at least. If I could give zero stars, I would. I come here out of convenience on my lunch breaks since it is so close to my job. However, last Friday was my final time coming here. The drive thru staff on Friday August 14th around 4pm, was so unprofessional, inappropriate and disgusting. Sadly, it's not the first time it's happened but I've always given people the benefit of the doubt unfortunately. But apparently this establishment likes to hire men with borderline predatory behavior and the rest of the staff within earshot thinks the act is funny. It's happened before and I've always been in too much of a rush to even entertain anyone, but looking back, I've noticed that it doesn't take place when I'm with my husband. So these guys definitely know to prey on alone, young females. What disturbed me most is I paid with card, meaning they had my name and I'm convinced the only reason I haven't been found on social media is because I don't go by my real name on social medias. In conclusion, workers here are a bunch of pervs and their food isn't even that good. My food was disgusting that day. So not only did I spend my lunch break feeling uncomfortable and violated, I didn't even eat because my food was cold and inedible. Thanks for nothing Wendy's!!! Not only did the drive thru girl not understand my order, it got to the point where I had to park and go inside where it took three people to take my order and enter it in to the computer. I paid in cash, I was told a dollar amount, got the coin but no paper currency. This location is a nightmare. Every time my coworkers decide on Wendys and It's my turn to grab the food..I cringe. Every single time I have used the drive thru there is always something wrong with my order. Today I tried to leave that in the past and give it another try since the location is very close to my work..but nothing has really changed. Orders are always incomplete. I am not sure if it is a communication issue(English doesn't seem to be their first language.) But no matter how slowly and concisely I speak, I cannot seem to get the information across. BUT..when I finally do..there is always something wrong with the order, either the receipt doesn't match the food in the bag, or food missing in the order. They constantly neglect condiments,(Butter&Sour cream for baked potato, ketchup etc). Seems to me there is more going here than miscommunication or being overwhelmed. There seems to be a lack of commitment to please their customers. I would not recommend this location. read more

The people who work here are so kind and accommodating! I arrived by bike with a couple of friends (who were also on bikes) after their dining area closed for the night. One of the employees who was in the dining area noticed how bummed we were and popped out saying the most glorious sentence I ever heard while on a bike, "Go ahead and go through the drive-thru." I was super shocked when hearing this because I've had terrible luck with being on foot or bike at drive-thrus, it NEVER ever worked out. Though, that night was different. :) So I put in my order and paid with Ricky, who was helping me at the window. He was super cool. Even though they had messed my order by forgetting one item I purchased, the fact that they were willing to bend the rules a bit to accommodate bike travelers really made my day. It may just be me, but I think that is pretty awesome. Again, as someone who has attempted to get, and denied, fast food service at a drive-thru while on foot or bike in the past, I'm really impressed. read more

It was a cold Sunday night and rain was pouring from the sky. I walked through the dark and the rain with my boyfriend to reach this Wendy's. While it was only down the street a small ways, it felt like the universe was sending rain and storm down on us to keep us from achieving our warm and greasy goal. But alas, we reached the Wendy's and were greeted by the smell of fries, chemicals, and the strange food products that they serve and it was the greatest salvation that I have felt to this day. The lady working that night gave us all of the sauces even though we only asked for one. I wasn't sure that such human kindness still existed but she has reminded me that traits like selflessness and kindness are still alive. We ordered a 4 for 4 and some stuff for my dad. We tried getting a drink and the lime sparkling drink was super bad and dave's cherry cream soda tasted like medicine. We had to shamefully pour both of those drinks back down into the machine- this was such a surreal experience at Wendy's and now I want to sleep maybe eat a salad when I get home because I'm still hungry read more
