This is twice we ordered take out and I have NEVER had as poor prepared fast food as this. We ordered 2 chicken combos. it seriously was cold, so hard we could not even bite into it. First off they are slow there, orders are always wrong. They can not understand english. There was 3 in my party. The first person ordered their order was wrong. The second person ordered his order was wrong. I stood there for 25 minutes waiting to order. Finally ordered, I got my food. And had to leave to go back to work. I've been visiting this Wendy's for years due to it's location near work and home. Over time the seating has changed from booths to an open floor plan of wooden tables and chair. It has little decor or personality but since it's fast food, we don't stay long or are popping through the drive-thru. Overall, and as compared to other locations, this Wendy's is kept clean and orders are received quickly. The 4 for $4 is a great deal for lunch or dinner, especially for families on a budget. It sits off Blankenbaker Pkwy and while entering the parking lot or drive-thru is fairly easy, heading out the same way is hectic and dangerous. Traffic is heavy and if you are making a left-hand turn, you encounter lanes of fast moving cars. I recommend driving through Ashley Furniture or At Home lots to hit the side streets that return you to the traffic lights, Blankenbaker, etc. read more

The owner of this Wendy's need to sell it to someone who cares. The worst customer service in Louisville. Food was missing. Burger that we did get was pink. French Fries were cold. Update 3 days later: My parents are in town and graciously went to this location to get my son some food. After waiting at the speaker for 15 minutes, pulled around and the guy had no shoes on! Major health violation and will be contacting corporate I frequent this Wendy's because it is close to my home. Says they are open until 1 am but sometimes they close at 5, sometimes 8. My family and I have a running joke that we will 'try' to get Wendy's (because they're always closed at random times). The service is usually fine but today was ridiculous. Waited at the window for more than 10 minutes before anyone came. When she did, I told her I had a mobile order and she rolled her eyes and said "oh my god, are you serious right now?" That's fine; I figured it was directed at the cashier who told me to go on to 2nd window without asking my name. She, of course, can't find my name so I ask that even though it shows it went through and was paid if I could still order my food. She says "maybe." So I order and wait some more. Meanwhile, a woman is out of her car and pointing and complaining about me to the cashier. Anyway, I get my food and the girl gives me a large frosty for my wait which I appreciated but told her that she had some angry customers behind her so good luck. This location is right in the Blue Grass Industrial area. During lunch hours it can get pretty busy so expect 30 to 45 minutes to dine in. I love the food at Wendy's very high quality. BY FAR the worst experience I've ever had. We were on a trip and stopped to grab something to eat along the way. As we walked in we were greeted with the "crew" including the manager preoccupied with conversations amongst themselves instead of taking care of the customers they had in line. The "manager" was extremely rude and literally rolling her eyes when my wife asked for a large order of cheese fries that only came in one size. We ordered two plain double cheeseburgers and what do you know they couldn't get that right. As they were preparing our food one of the employees started to put it into a tray as if we were eating in even after I asked for it to be Togo. When I asked that it be bagged the Crewmember rolled her eyes again and looked at me as if I asked her to solve a rubrics cube in record time. Once we got to the car I checked the food assuming they would not get the simplest of requests right. My sons burger had mayo on it and when I went to take it back inside to get it replaced I made eye contact with the manager inside who actually verbally said oh my god and rolled her eyes again. If only it were possible to roll your eyes enough to spin back time and make better choices in life to not end up as a miserable manager of a Wendy's. I was baffled that she actually had the nerve to say oh my god out loud and roll her eyes. I know that it's wishful thinking that anyone involved in our terrible experience knows how to read but here's to hoping this helps someone decide on avoiding this place at all costs. It's a Wendy's restaurant not unlike all the other Wendy's restaurants around North America. This particular Wendy's is always clean and the staff has always been nice. It might be a little outdated, but you're not going there for posh dining. Our favorite meal is the Baconator with fries and a drink. From the time Hurine started speaking at the speaker you could feel her warmth. She has a very bubbly warm and inviting personality. No offense to Wendy's (this is a huge compliment) but I thought I was at Chick-Fil-a for a second. ;) She apologized for the "wait", she was so nice using words such as "sweetheart" and used all manners, which is a huge deal to me! I told her she was one of the nicest people I have ever dealt with at a fast food restaurant! She also looked great! Most times you go through a drive through people are just ready for you to go.
