I stood waiting for at least 10 minutes without acknowledgment, until someone handed me a bag of food, assuming I was there for a pickup order, even though I hadn't placed one. Being short-staffed is not an excuse for ignoring customers. A simple greeting and offer of help should always be standard. I know from experience, asa former manager at a Taco Bell with just myself and a general manager during rush hour, that it is possible to provide both efficiency and customer service. This team needs retraining to ensure customers are treated with respect and basic courtesy.
