You order at the counter and they will call your order number when it is ready to be picked up. The young lady delivered ours to our table about 15 minutes after placing our order. I ordered a double hamburger combo with onion rings and a root beer my wife ordered a cheeseburger combo with fries and a root beer. Their burgers are smash burgers with a slightly crispy edge and an amazing beefy flavor. I mean these were really really delicious burgers. The onion rings were very good and we preferred those to the fries. Fries were good but the onion rings were just better in our opinion. We didn't order any ice cream but a table next to us ordered a banana split and it was huge and looked like one of those banana splits seen in a commercial. I mean it looked fabulous. Prices are about average for these days but for freshly prepared food with the burger having such good flavor, IMO, worth the price. The burger didn't come with condiments on it so make sure you ask for them if you desire. The fries were crinkled which is my personal favorite. They were crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle. Golden fried and good all by themselves. No salt or ketchup was needed. Mr. D's was a mouth pleasing, hunger satisfying experience. On the original order tonight, I ordered the bake potato with butter and sour cream. Guess what no butter and no sour cream. Thankfully we had the butter here at least. The corn on the cob was cold too. The 2nd order for tonight, for our grandson, the fries were cold and so was the mac and cheese and hush puppies. Our meal tonight was over $90.00 for our 4 grandsons and my husband and I. That is the LAST money that Captain D's will be getting from us.
