The cashier was very nice and sweet, even though my dad and I waltzed on up to the counter at 9:30 pm. He ordered a double patty burger and a baked potato, but since they were out of baked potatoes, he ordered a cup of chili to go with it instead. I ordered the southwest avocado salad with no bacon and no cheese. Weirdly, there was the option to add "no bacon" in the system to my order, but the same could not be said for the cheese (which would be thought to be more commonly requested due to intolerance). The cashier assured me that she would make sure to tell the employees to leave out the cheese, so we paid and helped ourselves to the fountain drinks while we waited. I had overheard the cashier reiterating the request for no cheese to my salad, as well as overheard the words "lactose" thrown in as well. Low and behold, my salad was void of bacon and cheese as promised. HOWEVER, upon further inspection I had found a a few strands of the cheese that had mistakenly made it into the salad, making me realize that the employee had originally began topping the salad with cheese, but then hastily took it off. This was fine for me, but for people who are truly lactose intolerant or have allergies, I would either relay the need to keep dairy separate for safety reasons, or else not order here at all. Overall, the food was acceptable, and a generous amount of ketchup packets were given when asked. Just keep an eye out for the workers actually making the food; seems like most food could be assembled with little thought. read more

Horrible service and food. The employee working the drive thru clearly didn't want to be there. Wasn't the most friendly when I asked what kind of Minute Maid or Hi-C they had; then when I pull up to the window she mumbles $9 and I hand her my card which she drops outside the window, probably because she had ridiculous long nails that in my opinion are unsanitary for a restaurant. Does not apologize; I had to back up, get out in the rain to get my card and I hand it to her, wet and you'd think I handed her a dirty diaper. Still no apology for her error. Processes card, hands it to me. Doesn't thank me for stopping in. Fries had an entire can of salt dumped on them, zero flavor to the burger and the cup was so full of ice there was barely room for a drink. My fav Wendys. The inside is really nice, has a fireplace and TVs. The seating is updated and comfy. Just a higher class version of its normal self.... The food is like every other Wendys. No issues with service. I do like that they have two updated soda machines where you can "make" your own soda up self serve. The chili is my favorite here. read more

I went here yesterday at around 11:30 am. (10/3/22) I live in the country and was looking forward to a taco salad. I got home, and what I got, literally, was shredded iceberg lettuce, no taco chips, and the chili was 99% water. I actually was so shocked by the 'chili' for my salad that I measured what was in it. There was one heaping tablespoon of beans, and one tablespoon of meat. The rest was all watered down tomato sauce. I was very disappointed, and will never go to a Wendy's again. What happened to quality control??? The price was way too much, but I really wanted it so ordered it. The salad size was smaller than it used to be, and the quality left me ticked off. I'm not sure about other locations, but at this one they have buy 1 get one free on Chili on Tuesdays. A coworker of mine usually get the chili and baked potatoe and we both can eat for $4. I was craving some Wendy's tonight! I think I should've chosen a different location. The employees were all young and a bit to much goofing around was happening. The East Beltline Wendy's left a lot to be desired. So I decided to try the five dollar giant Junior Bacon Cheeseburger combo. Mistake. The fries were cold and old. The chicken nuggets were cold and tough. So, went back through the drive-through to replace them and waited 10 minutes at least and by that time my burger was cold. My coke tasted like they accidentally started 7-Up and then finished off with Coke. Not to mention there was an employee with a long, scraggly, hairy beard and long, scraggly, dangling hair to go with it; working with the food. How gross is that? Very rude workers. Me and my friends politely ordered 4 of the 4 for 4's, and pulled up to the window. We payed and got out receipt back, which said that we had payed for 4 of them. The girl hands us 3 bags, and we say that we still need one more. She looked at us and closed the window. Wendy's has been on a triumphant comeback since the strawberry frosty was released. My friend and I have been great customers over the past couple of weeks, and in return we are greeted with the worst attitude I've ever encountered at a fast food restaurant. When my friend was ordering as he always does with his double stack plain she retorts with "I'm gettin to it." The tone of her voice was agitated as she closed out the order before I had said anything or before my friend had finished his order. As we then tell her there is more to the order she stops responding over the drive through mic. Seeing as she was agitated before I wondered if she was still taking our order. I asked a simple "hello?" And she responds with "I'm gettin there y'all gotta be patient." To which I responded " You did not respond when I was ordering and I was uncertain you were still there." We were completely cordial the entire encounter meanwhile she felt attacked by our order.
