Tonight we'd both had long workdays, so I ordered online (about $50 for a couple of plates and the hummus trio) and my wife went to pick it up. When she walked in and said hi, the young woman at the front answered with a flat "ya," then turned away with a scowl, as if my wife was bothering her just by being there. The rest of the interaction stayed cold and rude. My wife is about the kindest person you'll meet, and she came home in tears over how she'd been treated for no reason at all. I went down there to ask for a manager. The same employee told me there was no manager or supervisor on site, then tried to put the blame on my wife when I explained what happened. I was so upset I was shaking, and I raised my voice. I'm sorry for yelling in your establishment; that wasn't right, no matter how I felt. As I was walking out, the manager came out from the back. So there was a manager there the whole time. To be fair, two people did things right. The young man working with her was polite and went out of his way to be kind to my wife, like he knew something was off. And the manager stopped me, stayed professional, and tried to make it right. That's appreciated. The food has never been the problem. But how customers are greeted matters, and after tonight, we won't be back.

So I took matters in my own hands to be the judge of that to see where this place ranks. I will say that the food served here is eerily similar to what you'd find at other fast-food Mexican restaurants including Adalberto's & Carolina's. The menu includes just about everything you can possibly imagine including tacos, burritos, enchiladas, tortas, salads, nachos, breakfast options, and a variety of Mexican beverages. One big plus is how sizable the dining area is here with ample seating to comfortably seat at least 3 dozen customers. Furthermore, they also offer a 24-hour drive thru while their inside lobby is even open during the late night hours. My lady and I came here during the afternoon of Saturday 5/24/25 at around 3:30pm as we were both absolutely starving after a full day of errands. I ordered the "California Burrito" (quite fitting when coming here) while she went with (2) "Carne Asada" tacos and (1) "Rolled Beef" taco. We both order a Horchata to wash it down. Total price for everything including tax came out to around $27. I also wanted to add that chips/salsa are included with your purchase when dining in. Service here was quick as both of our plates arrived in about 7 minutes. My burrito was piping hot and had fresh chunks of seasoned Carne Asada complete with fried potatoes, cheese, and Pico de Gallo. And once adding some of their red & green salsas in every savory bite, I will say that everything tasted great after it was all said and done. I've been to my fair share of Mexican fast-food places and everything here was fresh and inviting. All in all, I am giving this "California Burrito" location an above average four-star rating.

The jalapeño burger (we ended up with 3 patties instead of two, per the menu confusion) basically brought tears to my partners eyes because it was so perfect. And they actually season their fries!!! Avoid this place like the plague. They got my sister's order wrong THREE times as well as mine, the drive thru people were on their phones watching videos instead of doing their jobs, and the cashier kept walking away while taking our order. We had to repeat ourselves several times before he even processed them and they were still wrong. And I'm pretty sure they gave one of the sandwiches we gave back to another customer. Gross! Not to mention the restaurant itself was filthy and none of the ketchup dispensers worked. Plus flies and annoying kids swearing up a storm and riding their scooters around the entire dining area. She didn't even say thank you for waiting.
