Wendy's fast food franchise located in cave city just off the 65 expressway me and my family stopped by for a quick lunch on the at home from nashville to Lousiville. This location was insanely packed. From The drive thru to the interior. Not sure I've ever seen a Wendy's so packed. They handled the line moderately well. Our food order was placed correctly and the service seemed solid. Food wise I'm personally a fan of Wendy's if I have to do fast food burgers. You can never go wrong with a jr bacon cheeseburger and frosty for a quick lunch meal. Overall not a bad experience and served the purpose we needed it too read more

I stopped in there yesterday to get a hamburger on the way home from Louisville. I walked in and there were three customers standing near the counter and another sitting down. After about three minutes my order was taken for a plain single without cheese and only a bit of ketchup. A few minutes later an employee called the name of the seated customer and gave him his order. Another few minutes passed and the next waiting customer was served. Being the fourth customer and having the process repeated in front of me I finally walked out approximately fifteen minutes later with my burger. When I unwrapped the burger it had cheese on it. I was livid and threw the burger towards the front door. I kept the wrapper and bag in my car. The staff was incompetent and very unprofessional. If you are traveling I-65 and want Wendy's, do yourself a favor and stop in Bowling Green or Elisabethtown. read more

I have been going to this location all my life and would order a baconator and request for some butter because I like butter with my burgers but today they refused to give me butter even tho I just paid $8 dollars for a baconator. read more

Hey, it was Wendy's food and it came out fast. Dinner for 4 ordered, picked up, and brought back to the hotel in under 15 minutes. You know what you're getting in Wendy's food, but the fries and the chicken nuggets were stand-out today! As was the speed! Still can't get over how quickly they actually got food out. Stopped in while traveling, it was the best chicken sandwich from Wendy's we have had in a while. Tomatoes and lettuce were fresh and perfect. The staff were a breath of fresh air with their kindness. Restroom could have been cleaner but the food and staff made up for it. I almost thought maybe they thought we were mystery shoppers! The food came out hot and delicious and easy stop before visiting mammoth cave. The service was quick.

After a work trip to Nashville I headed home to Louisville and spotted this Wendy's when I got off the Cave City exit for gas. My experience was with the drive thru. I was asked to wait a couple of minutes before placing my order but it was short and the lady apologized for that happening. At the drive thru window the team had my bag ready to go. Again the lady was so polite. I got back on the road and started with the fries. They were delicious and so hot. It was about 15 minutes before I could grab the burger but it was still warm and also delicious. Even my coke tasted super fresh! I would give it 0 if possible. Customer service was very kind. However, the food did not taste fresh. We stopped at this place while traveling. The food was disgusting. I do not recommend stopping, continue driving until you reach the next exit with food. read more

If I could leave a negative star I would. I was across the street with my semi truck broken down. Transmission blown. I'm from Alabama. I had to be towed back home which was expensive! I wanted to get something to eat for my husband, dog and myself before we left in the tow truck. They stated we can't serve you. Then one nice gentleman said no come in. Once we got in the manager stated we can't serve you. I explain our situation. She just kept repeating she can't serve me and it's not her fault. When did humanity become this type of treatment? I pray she one day finds herself in a situation and is shown how to truly treat people. read more

The doors were locked at 9:55pm today. There were customers inside eating. I asked two workers who were finishing a smoke break, "what time do you close tonight?" One fellow wearing a headset said, "10:30 in the drive through" and I asked what about the dining room. Worst drive thru service. Forgot 2 drinks and the drink we had order was wrong. No napkins as well. Gave me a wrong salad and dressing. Had to walk inside to get new drinks and salad and the place was not kept up and there was no napkins anywhere. *note to self, I will not return to this location when traveling. read more

On the evening of 10/11/2016 at 10:00 pm my son and I walked to the Wendy's directly across from our hotel located on Mammoth Cave Rd in Cave City KY. The lobby door was locked, but a young man approached and opened the door after I tried it. He stated that the lobby was closed, but the drive through was open for another half hour. I inquired could I walk through the drive through. He left to inquire on that possibility with the manager. He came back to say that was not allowed. So I walked back across the street and drove my vehicle across the street and placed my order or two large fries and two small frosty's. And was informed by the manager that the frosty machine was not available, even though there were 20 minutes left that the restaurant was due to be open. I canceled the order and drove away. After arriving back to my hotel room I looked up Wendy's corporate to speak to someone about the incident. Only to find that the (888) - 624-8140 number given was not in service. If the corporate number is not legit on its main website I would advise against making a purchase there at all. I guess it is soon lights out for Wendy's. And I can see why if this is how things are run. read more

0/10 would not recommend at ALL. I only gave it one star to leave this review. The staff at this location is very immature and unprofessional. I asked for my burger plain two times and it still came with tomato and mayo. I ordered a small vanilla frosty and after I got my food I went to the counter to get it and they told me "you do NOT want vanilla right now, we're changing out the ice creams" which I get because I work in fast food as well. I was told if I wanted to wait they would make it for me later. So I decided to wait. My friend and I were in the restaurant for about 50 minutes and I went back up to the counter right before we left to see if the ice cream was ready and they said it was still being changed. Ice cream takes at most 20 minutes to change over, if that. We left without it. The dining room was ridiculously small, every table was dirty, both ketchup pumps were empty and the whole time we were there, not one person came out to check the dining room. (Wipe tables down, stock lids and sauces, etc.) all the staff did was talk and laugh really loudly and seemed as if they were there to hangout, not to work. read more
