Just stopped and got a Dave's double and small Frosty. When they say mall they mean small. But I guess that's how things are all over: pay more get less. The bigger disappointment was the burger. It was 1) cold, the cheese couldn't even partially melt since it was very barely even room temperature. 2) The burgers were the driest Wendy burgers I have ever had. Just not worth the $6.00 Really glad I did not splurge and try fries too. When I want to over calorie and deprive my body of healthy food, I at least want it to be fresh and good. I do want to note that it was like 3:30 ish pm but I do think they are supposed to toss old food, and I did see 3 cars in front of me in drive through so I thought they must be making everything fresh. First thing I hated was the sign on the door walk in and place your order at the kiosk. THERE WAS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL. I ordered 4 piece chicken tenders and fries. The chicken tenders were over cooked and when I got my fries they were cold. The kiosk ask if your paying cash and you hit pay by cash it doesn't even take cash. The only ambiance is coke machine and they have fosters so there is a lot of ambiance. The meaning of customer service is talking to a person when placing your order and hearing welcome to Wendy's and thank you for eating at Wendy's which I didn't hear at all. This store continuously rejects door dashers from picking up customer orders. I called the store to inquire on why this was happening and the woman on the phone was rude and passive aggressive and said that they send out all orders and don't turn anyone away. Interesting, considering it's happened twice now. They also wait hours to actually cancel the order and refund you. I'm literally sitting here right now while a FOURTH door dasher has been refused from picking up my order, yet somehow the store workers have NO idea how it's happening. I have patronized the Cary ILL. Wendy's since it opened. because I live close to that location, However, within the past few years I can always depend on getting upset at them due to getting my order wrong or just completely missing something I ordered entirely. forget about being compensated for the food I did not get, how are they going to compensate me for the gas and time it will take to go back and get it corrected while the food I did get gets cold as my family has to wait for me to get back so we can enjoy a diner together? (my fault for not just holding up the line at the drive-thru by inconveniently & meticulously rummaging thru my bag checking everything I receive, before driving off) I'm sure that the rest of the customers behind me would love that. 3 out of 5 times there is something wrong with my order, Then I call the listed number of that location, no one EVER answers the phone! Why even have a phone if you cant reach anyone there??? in short I am NEVER going back to that location again I am done with them. the anger, mistreatment and lack of care is not worth me giving them my money or time. Have received free food from this place multiple times without even asking! One time my friend and I were there and we found out they didn't take apple pay which was our only method of paying. Went to Wendy's 2/11/22 around 6:15. Put my first order in and was about to put in another order and the guy totals me out immediately and says to pull forward. Gives no opportunity to complete your order. Then the order given is the wrong size and when I'm handed the bag no thank you. Already walking away as he's handing the bag to me. I love the new look. This is a great Wendy's, the inside is warm and inviting, not like your typical fast food place. Try the next soda machine, get your choice of dozens of combinations. I ordered a large drink and I didn't realize until I was half way done drinking it that there was a hair in it. And I only realized because they didn't give me a straw so I had to take the lid off to drink it. Coming from someone who works in fast food, this is completely unacceptable. Obviously I didn't finish the drink after that, so I wasted my money. Won't be visiting this location/chain anytime soon. If you don't mind blaring news, Fox News to be exact, go to this location. I asked if they could turn it off, because the TV, combined with the music, was very distracting. This Wendy's branch is terrible. Drive thru is terribly slow- it took 20 minutes to place, wait in line and receive our order. There were no straws for our drinks or utensils to eat the baked potato we ordered. There's definitely a systemic issue, and lack of leadership. Wendy's usually doesn't disappoint me. However, this Wendy's was absolutely horrible. The wait for my food was over 20 mins. During that 20 minutes, we saw most workers just sitting around looking at the mass of customers that had appeared instead of going to make the food. Once my food finally came out, my burger was incorrect and had toppings I didn't ask for. My friends all had wrong orders as well. I was able to finish my burger and nuggets before my friends even sat down with their food. (Which was incorrect anyway) one of my friends looked at his fries after he got his food. More then half of his fries were solid as a rock. Another one of my friends went to get a replacement burger and when he did, he heard an employee cussing about how she had to make our food. After this god awful experience, I shared to them how bad the service was. That's when one of the workers raised the middle finger at me and then proceeded to cuss at me directly. Over all this was the most distasteful experience I had ever been a part of in any restaurant I've ever been in. After I got home I felt very nauseous. I am never going to go to this Wendy's again. All of the employees were extremely unprofessional and after we left the building they all went outside and started vaping and smoking weed. Used to frequent this Wendy's in high school, always had great service. But since the Reno, this place is fantastic. An awesome place to grab a bite to eat with friends. Doesn't feel like a fast food joint at all. Wendy's really stepped up their game! Love the newly remodeled Wendy's. Different layout, even has a flatscreen on the wall. Nice atmosphere! Their dollar food is great, even have free senior drinks, which is great for saving $$. I eat at this location quite often, roughly 3 or more times a week. It isn't as healthy as I should be eating but I can't help it. The staff is really friendly, always offering different combinations of food that I would never try on my own. I highly reccomend people eat at this location. My only downside is at night, the quality is t the best but that is because they're almost closed I get it. I've worked fast food before, and these are by far the most energetic workers I've seen. 5 stars for sure! read more
