i do not give them any stars. but saldy i have to.. the manager is disrespectful. they got OUR order wrong and was disrespectful when we went to go pick up the order. The first order was alll wrong. the people are lazy. they half butt the food. my friend who is allergic to tomatoes btw!! they were trying to refuse to give us a new burger for her! i do not recommend coming here! go to any other wendys but this one!!! read more

I haven't been to a Wendy's in years, so I wasn't sure when I went here with a large group of my students. But I wasn't let down! The service and the quality of food (for fast food) was fantastic! This location was able to serve 15 people in a short period of time--with all orders being correct and fresh. I has a spicy chicken go wrap, and it was delicious! The grilled chicken burger was decent too. My students loved their frosties--it was the first time many of them had ever tried one! The cherry on top was that they comped mine and my coworker's meals (guessing they were sympathetic of a couple of teachers out with a gang of kids on a Saturday night haha!) Customer service was terrible. I usually have no problem getting my burger without cheese but this time they got that wrong and when I handed it to them they said I should have asked for no cheese. I had, as I always do, but the way the window worker talked to me was very demeaning. They talked down to me as though I was incapable of having a coherent thought. Thanks for that. read more

I've gone here a few times and never had an issue they give student discount to WT students. It's never crowded and always clean. My food hasn't been wrong at all and the customer service is better than some of the places I've been to in canyon. read more

My family and I visited Canyon for a high school football game and stopped into Wendy's to get dinner for the drive home. Our experience was fair. The employees were friendly and anxious to help. But the bathroom floor was greasy and the soda machine was out of order. Our food order was completed correctly and everything tasted great. read more

this place is HORRIBLE. The building is disgusting. We didn't even want to eat on the tables because they were so nasty. I ordered something simple and they never got it out to me. I went to the register to tell them and they were very unkind. I sat down and went back about 15 minutes later when they still hadn't called my name. My food was sitting in the back getting cold. The guy whose name tag said "manager" was goofing around in the back. He very rudely told me I could have my money back. Worst place in Canyon. Will never return. read more

I almost hate to write this review because of the publicity angle, but what the heck has happened to Wendy's? It seems like they dipped off the map, but then they launched this new ad campaign and, well... are they really hurting that bad? I know two things about this place: 1. Fast food, yuck. (P.S. don't EVER eat the chili...) 2. This particular location is trying to strongarm WTAMU's student newspaper with ad dollars in order to get them to run ridiculous PR fluff pieces about their restaurant. Full disclosure, I was passing through town and was forced to stop for a meal from a hungry family in the car. With that said, I may have been easily frustrated... Like typical Wendy's you order at the counter and return to the counter to retrieve your food. Something that i have never seen at another Wendy's was the do-it-yourself drinks (which I love); usually you have to return back to the counter and ask an employee every time you want to get a refill. This needless is step is time consuming and crowds an already busy part of the store. The issue when we were here was that a single drink machine and one ice dispenser made for a loooong wait. The machine is one of the touch screen mix-up your own concoction types and so you have to wait for everybody to scroll through all the menus. At a busy lunch time, this amounted to 6-8 total minutes of waiting. The food was ok but had cooled down considerably by the time i got back to the table to eat because of the drink wait. I guess what I'm saying is... please bring back the employee refill system that I thought was a bad idea! read more

Recently, I needed to feed a team of junior high students, so I called Wendy's who offered to make 4 for 4 meals for all of the kids at a good price. I called the restaurant around 2PM to give plenty of time for the task. I asked for 22 meals to be ready by 6:00 PM. The person who took my order was helpful and friendly. She read my order back to me and told me the meals would be ready at 6:00. Unfortunately, when my husband arrived at 6:00, there was not one single meal prepared. What made matters worse, the manager and other employees were completely unmoved and unapologetic. They did not even TRY to be helpful nor did they apologize. One of the employees found the order that the young woman took earlier and showed it to the manager. He just shrugged his shoulders as if to say, "oops". I still can't believe it happened! I would think twice before relying on this particular Wendy's restaurant. The customer service is lacking to say the least. read more

This is the worst Wendy's in the entire United States of America they have one of those thousand drink machines literally had four drinks in it and when I tried to drink one of the four drinks literally only 2 ounces of it came out and then they ran out of everything their staff is horrible rude and incompetent the place is disgusting there is smashed food into the carpet around the entire restaurant even though we were the only customers in the restaurant when we arrived our food is lukewarm and old and looks disgusting I wish I could give it -5 stars I will never eat here again even if you pay me read more

Uh, well chic fil a was closed along with every other fast food joint here in canyon. I'm not sure if it was ignorance when I was younger or if Wendy's food standards have slipped. Kids meals! The main reason we go to Wendy's is to get the kids a cheap meal in the evening. We avoid the drive thru as it is not easy to understand the person receiving the order. I recommend you always check the order of so because we have been shorted food and had wrong orders. They are quick to make it right but it is annoying to have to go through those steps. read more

Since my boyfriend lives in Canyon, most of our time together is spend in either Canyon or Amarillo resulting in a lot of fast food (can't eat fancy all the time). One of the places we go to the most is Wendy's because its simple, easy, and we always know what we want since we always get the same thing (we're picky people, don't mix things up very often). With that being said, the other day we were in Canyon and decided to go to Wendy's because nothing else sounded just great. We stand at the counter for probably a good 5-10 minutes before anyone came and took our order. We weren't in any hurry, but I was getting pretty hungry. We ordered what we always do a number one and a number two both with large fries and drinks. They tell us that our food is ready and they say two singles. Well that's not a big deal, we just tell the woman that called it out that he had gotten a double. When she took it back to fix it, the man the took our order was complaining that my boyfriend had said number one, and he just sat there complaining. I guess he could've had enough respect to wait until we were away from the front counter. When he ordered he said "double" not even a number so how the worker got that confused, I don't know. I do understand making mistakes and that's okay we're all human, but when you sit there and talk bad about one of the customers right in front of them when it was your mistake? I love right across the street from this Wendy's and I have never really been a huge fan of any Wendy's so that's the first thing I want to point out. Every once in a while it's too late to cook dinner and/or I don't want to cook and I'm too lazy to drive far I will go to this Wendy's. Never any serious problems until last night 3/16/2016, my boyfriend and I visited and I ordered a salad and he got a 4 for $4 meal which is normal for us. We got up to the window and this lady literally rushed us out. Opened the window and snatched our card slammed the window shut, opened the window handed us the card then right after the drinks then food and closed the door and walked away. No thank you. No option for us to get ketchup or anything! So okay whatever we came home...and my boyfriends food was literally ice cold. Felt like it had been sitting for hours outside.
