If I could give my experience at the Canyon McDonald's a negative rating I would. For one, the manager that walked past me smelled of weed, and the food quality was horrible. Went through the Drive-Thru. They took our order after a long complicated time. We went to the first window. The lady couldn't seem to figure out what meal we had ordered, but she charged us. Then when we got to the second window, they told us to pull into a curbside parking spot. We sat there for 30min while everyone in front of us was getting their food. So my mom went up to one of the workers delivering food to a car and asked where our food was. He said our food wasn't checked in, which was confusing because we didn't order online. The Amarillo McDonalds on Coulter and 34th was horrible. We are elderly and can not use the order machines. After about 15 minutes trying to get something to work, a lady came over to ask what was taking us so long we said we needed a senior coffee. "We don't do senior coffees at this mcD. '' No coffee is even made. She finally said she'd get us a coffee. Another man came in after us and asked for a coffee because it's not on the order screen only those creamed coffees. She told him the coffee machine is broken. Also another lady yelled "What mcD doesn't have coffee. '". Sticky floors, bathrooms in men's was over run with water on floor. Dangerous for sure. This location is always out of something. The other morning it was breakfast burritos. Today, out of all soda. I had to wait for 35 minutes on my food in the mobile wait area. They were all full with people waiting. My order wasn't complex. Just a big mac combo, QP combo, and a kids meal. No drinks of course since they were out. Very unprofessional today. I've come to this McDonald's since 2012 when I was in college. Things have shifted. The employees there don't have any type of respect. They talk to you like you are a little kid. I see why they get paid less than minimum wage. The ice cream machine is always broken as well. My grandparents and I have visited many McDonalds over the years. This one is by far the best one we have experienced! The employees were extremely nice and got our order out quickly and accurately. The restrooms were clean and fully stocked (tp and paper towels). If you're in the area, this is the place to stop if you're looking for fast food! read more

Ordering from here is just a shit show, you'll mostly get nice people at the drive thru but anyone making the meals just doesn't know how to run a line, you either miss an item or just have to wait 30 minutes for a drink while they serve 7 other people behind you. They're so worried about times because they get in trouble if they can't get them right. I've just started telling them I'm good to stay here if they try to have me move forward for my food cause good luck getting out in under 20-30 minutes. Your manager at this store runs his workers ragged and has them filling out surveys that he will keep the coupon codes for himself. There's constant micromanaging, and no one is doing their own work. He'll allow one person to man three stations while other employees are criticizing the one person about their work or how they're not properly manning their own station. Extremely horrible customer service. I ordered a meal that had me wait out there for 30 minutes. Closing time came around they bring my food after they take care of everyone else. No acknowledgment or apology, when she did come out with my food I was missing my chicken nuggets and the double Big Mac was just a regular Big Mac. When I told her about it she said oh yeah we gave that away I think. She comes back out and says here's the nuggets but he says he did put the Big Mac in the bag. Awful, rude service everytime my family and I enter this McDonald's. From most recent events I ordered a s'mores pie, 89 cents. I looked at the clock 10:02 p.m. I didn't get to the window until 10:13 p.m. and I was the 4th car in line. I took the pie out as I was driving, took a bite, yuck! I looked at the tag (use by 6:30 p.m.) and it's now 10:15 p.m. I go in and say "I just drove thru" the manager Yanks the pie out of my hand, opens the door where all the other pies are PUTS THAT PIE BACK IN and hands me a different one that's has a sticker (use by 11:00 p.m.) and walks away never says a thing.
