Wendy's has been around for years. I love their Baconaters but the fries need major improvement. I am not fond of old fries that have been under a heat light. That is my only complaint at this time. The establishment is always clean on the outside. I use the drive thru a lot and can not give review on the interior. The attendant at window was pleasant and polite which is a plus. The prices are affordable. I'm sure I'll be returning but know not to order fries. (Dave could you check into this problem for your customers please). The dining area at this Wendy's is very open - there are significantly fewer tables than other Wendy's, so it would be impossible to feel crowded. They almost filled our order correctly - out of 5 meals, most with a Frosty added, only one Frosty flavor was incorrect. Terrible service, food poorly prepared *burnt*, attitude problem. The Drive-through server handed me a bag (my order) and rushed off, I wanted to ask if the order was complete, so I waited for about 1 minute, they returned and asked, "Are you waiting for something?" in a why are you here type manner. I thought, "why did I go to Wendy's to begin with". This was the second time I had a less than favorable experience at this restaurant, this time the burger was burnt and missing almost every ingredient. Overall, the people running the place now are just lazy. They make all the food that they expect to sell for the day especially the fries cause these are the biggest offender out of your fries. They are dry. I am not sure why the reviews are not better for this Wendy's location, except for this reason: most people leave reviews do so to voice frustrations, while people who are satisfied often don't leave reviews. This is the cleanest, most pleasant Wendy's I have ever visited. I come here at least once a week, and am never disappointed by doing so. Every person is cheerful and helpful, and the food is hot and served quickly. The manager has been here over five years, and there is a reason for that: he runs a great location. They have the soda machine that allows numerous options for drinks, including zero-sugar options. The dining room was updated about one year ago and is nice. Bathrooms clean every time I visit. Try this location. If something isn't right, I would be surprised if the manager and team don't make it right and make you happy you stopped by. read more

Food was good, what I didn't like was I was charged for the car in front of me and their order was $40 more than mine, then when I pulled up to the second window to get my food I was asked to pay again. The manager was nice and helpful with giving my money back. But then the guy who over charged me walks to where I can see him and he's smiling and laughing. Not sure if his name but he needs to just be put in the back of the store doing inventory or stocking. Unbelievable! TV ads for Salted Caramel Frosty! The signs at the register are for Salted Caramel Frosty! They close at midnight. It's 9PM! An employee was breaking down the Salted Caramel Frosty Machine. Said it would take 20 minutes to get it started again! I said I'd wait 20 minutes. After ten minutes no one had touched the machine. I asked if they were actually going to. Then the manager said they are out...and that they won't have any more...ever! Now I'm waiting for the manager to come back to explain to me why they told me that they broke the machine down, when, really, they're out and it's not ever coming back! But, really...is that just another lie. Wendy's! Get better management! Don't advertise on Sunday Night Football in a Dallas Market during a DALLAS GAME...if you can't deliver! Took over 12 minutes to get our food. That was cold. The place was empty and I could see why. They made me park up front to wait for one combo meal. I had to back up and ask for my order. When I asked what took so long. The manager came and screamed that it takes 4 minutes for the sandwich. Not sure what was the hold up because the food was room temperature when we got it. Just finished forcing down a 'taco salad' picked up at their drive-thru on John Jones, in Burleson. Never again. Someone else picked up this order for me & it arrived without chips or salsa or sour cream. Hardly a taco salad without chips & salsa & sour cream. So, it was bland & the meat in the chili was disgusting & full of fat. I have had them short me on orders before but this is the last time that they will. Used to always have good service and accurate orders u til recently. Now they just give the wrong items and steal money from customers by not even putting items you paid for in the bag. Poor experience all around. My order was botched. Received what is pictured after ordering a Big Bacon Classic. Person that took the order got it right. The problem was the manager putting burgers together. I watched her insist to the cashier that those were my burgers. Got home to some lettuce and pickles. Completely disorganized operation. I have to break up with you Wendy's on John Jones. I've tried so many times to make this work but you can not seem to get things right...EVER! I order bacon cheese burger you serve me a double cheese burger. I ask for a baked potato you give me chili. I could blame the speaker in hopes you just can't understand me, but even when I've gone inside to order you still mess up my order- to extreme! I have to admit the employees are friendly and willing to fix their mistake, but the amount of money you have wasted by fixing my order you could have probably served me a steak! There are other Wendy's in the area, so until you can get it together, I am breaking up with you and moving on. It might take a little longer to get to your other location, but they seem to have it together a little more. read more

A while back, at about 11PM on a Saturday night, I decided to pick up some Wendys for my husband and I. I left my phone at home since I would "be right back." I ordered, got to the pickup window where I was given my sandwiches and frosty, but was told the fries were almost done and that I needed to pull forward to wait for them a few minutes. Okay, knowing their drive thru is timed, I obliged. Five minutes later, I decided to eat my frosty then because it was melting. Ten minutes later I was done with my frosty, and then I thought, "Have they forgotten about me?" I back up to the window since the lobby was closed and this was my only option. I waved at a few people as they walked by and gave me weird looks. Finally I tooted my car horn in confusion. An employee came to the window and said "You need to go to the speaker first to order." I asked where my fries were. Apparently they forgot about me. :( They gave me cold fries to go with my now cold sandwiches, and after asking I was given a refund. Only one employee, a young man, was all "Oh my god I am soooo sorry!" Everyone else was smug. When I got home my husband was about to go looking for me because I had been gone half an hour. There are two Wendys in Burleson, and I prefer the one by the highway, even though this one is closer to my house. Things like this are why. read more

Ugly experience. The young man on cashier was so nice but the girls at the window were very rude. She didn't speak to me and just shoved my food towards me and slammed the window closed. Don't go to Wendy's much but while my wife shopped at Target the kids and I were hankering a bit for some chicken. We slided on over to the drive thru to be met with a pretty chipper and patient drive through guy. He got all our orders on the board and made some fresh nuggets for us (btw-spicy nuggets are back!) everything was great except he forgot to give us our chicken sandwich. Probably the worst customer service and food from this location in a while. I live down the street from this place and it used to be a decent place to stop for lunch or just grab a sandwich. Their "new" fries suck. The ones we got today were cold and greasy, seemed to be fried in old oil. My wife got a jr. deluxe burger and when she opened it up, it was a burger, just not the deluxe. It had 2 pickles and 1 onion ring on it for the "deluxe". So, my daughter took the cold and wrong items back and asked to talk to the manager, Carla, and got more attitude than service. She replaced and corrected the items and the fries were still bad but were hot on top. We contacted the POC on the receipt and really didn't get much of a resolution to this. If you want crappy food, go to this location, if you want good burgers, go somewhere else. I won't be back. read more

This is the worst Wendys I have ever been to. Not once has my order been right and HOT the first time. Every time something is wrong. I ordered a burger, fries and a soda. They put the soda on the tray then the fries then 3 minutes later the burger. The burger was cold and so were the fries. Another time I ordered a bacon burger on a pretzel bun paid extra for the pretzel bun open it up it's a regular bun. As I was sitting in the dining room every person that had received their food walked back up to the counter to return it. Every time I order fries they are cold. Then half the time when they are replaced they are not cooked all the way, they are hot but soggy! I see employees standing around texting on their cell phones while customers wait for their food to be made wrong and delivered cold! This Wendys is convenient to my house but that is the only nice thing I can say about it. read more
