Showed up to this Wendy's yesterday for a quick snack.....bad call. I pulled in and only four cars were ahead of me in the drive thru line, not bad at all. A full 20 minutes later I had my small order, how is this possible? Even more baffling was the overpowering smell of weed and the horde of employees hanging around near the service window just chilling out. This Wendy's has THE WORST customer service I have ever encountered. I entered with 2 small children a 6 year old and a 5 year old. These 2 are extremely independent so they placed their own orders. Cashier #1. What do you want? Is that all? What else? Unfortunately I have come to accept that type of service in these establishments, the little children not so much. GMa they are being rude. It's OK let's just finish ordering. With the order complete we are given dry cold fries. Scared to ask for anything else we accept it. I ordered just a drink and asked if the drink were a slushie enter cashier # 2 no it's a drink we never had a slushie. I say oh I thought it was a slush machine ok can I have the middle drink it looks a bit thicker and no ice. Cashier #2 was so appalled that she literally rolled her eyes. So off to Yelp I go. This is probably one of the slower Wendy's. I know Wendy's whole thing is never frozen beef and so it takes a bit longer to make your food, but this Wendy's pushes it. Went to this Wendy's today. Ordering was painful, slow and difficult since the order doesn't appear on the screen. We kept repeating everything she said to make sure that the order was clear. Drove up to the window. Smelled pot. Hopefully it was the person in the car in front smoking a fat doobie and not the employee in the window. Paid. Drove up to the second window to get our food. Food was handed to us. Window immediately closed and girl walked away. We checked our food and realized that the mayo was missing. Girl finally comes back to the window and gives us a blank stare. Nothing like "is everything ok?" or so. The following conversation took place; My husband: "can we have some packets of mayo please?" Girl: "we don't have it" Me (surprised): "you don't have mayo?" Girl shakes her head. My husband then thinks that she doesn't understand what the abbreviation mayo means since every burger place on the planet earth carries mayo. My husband: "you have no mayonnaise?" Girl: "we don't have packets of mayonnaise". Me (being European and thinking I need to clarify this more...some Americans don't understand that there are people who eat mayo with their fries): "I need mayo for my fries". Then things got wierd.... Girl looks me right in my eyes and says: "PLEASE?" Me: huh? yeah? (I am thinking WTF) Girl walks away and comes back with a small plastic container with mayo in it. My husband: "thank you" I said to my husband:" did she seriously just say that?" and with an attitude I have never seen before! It was the strangest thing. Especially since I was trying my hardest to explain something to her. I don't think people say please at the end of a sentence when they explain something. Can you imagine...the earth is round, PLEASE? Trump is a republican, PLEASE? Spiders have 6 legs, PLEASE? It was so strange! I am currently teaching my 3 year old to say "please" and "thank you". He already knows that it's something you say when you have a request (please) or when you receive something (thank you!). I hope the manager of this place will teach her that she should keep the window open while the customers check their order. She could ask something like "do you have everything you need?" or "is there something else I can help you with?". It gives the customer the opportunity to ask for things like a straw, napkin, mayo..whatever. If we have everything we need, it would be nice to hear "have a nice day". These are such basic things but make such a difference in customer satisfaction. And the next time someone asks for mayonnaise, she should say:" we don't have packets but I am happy to get you a small plastic container with mayo if you would like". We would have answered: "thank you, that would be great!" and the whole wierd convo could have been avoided. Needless to say, we won't return to this place. read more

Extremely disappointed today! I usually love this location but today they really dropped the ball. The drive through line took forever, the kid taking my order sounded like he hated his job and rushed me the whole time, they told me they had no more cheese only to find out they didn't have shredded cheese but they had others. They forgot the bacon on my sandwich and my nuggets. I did mention the nuggets and the girl got them as slow as she could. I live 5 mins away so when I started to eat my food, my burger was smushed and cold (looked nothing like the picture), lettuce was wilted and the fries had been sitting out. Haven't ate out in awhile figure, I give it a chance go into Wendy and the lady making my sandwich had her mask half off her face talking and laughing over my food and going in and out of her dirty back pocket without changing her gloves , never again. I was originally having really good experiences here, but the service lately has been really slow. Like unexplainably slow... twenty minutes to get just a few cars through the drive thru is just absurd and ridiculous. I still really like how new and renovated this Wendy's looks like, but the drive thru lately has had really long waits and lots of cars full of annoyed and upset people (like myself!) who are waiting for food, while half the employees either are on break or jut not working efficiently or doing their job at all. One time they completely messed up my order and another time they forgot about my change. They just don't seem to care, which is really disappointing and upsetting since I really like Wendy's and am not able to go all that frequently because their isn't one anywhere near my house. It's appalling though that this slow service is not something that is a sometimes thing and is becoming a consistent drill every time I come here.... management really needs to get on the ball and fix this place, because it's getting to a point that I may stop patronizing this place until there is a severe change in service. It's convenient when I'm in the area, but some other Wendy's are better. Make sure before you leave you have gotten everything you ordered and the correct change! Two stars. On today May 22 2021 at approximately 5:30pm; I got a baked potato with bacon chili and cheese. When I got home I noticed 3 strands of hair on my potato. I called to inform them when I was obviously hung up on by a lady. I immediately called back to ask why when I was yelled at and hung up on again. (I was not being rude). I proceeded to call back immediately, noone answered, I called 5 more times to continue to be ignored. Very upsetting . The young ladies working at this time should not be in customer service. Not a big surprise but I just need to vent about this one. Wendys Oak Street Brockton. I went here with my girlfriend to pick up some food for her son. As soon as we walked in we were appalled at what we saw. This place was the dirtiest and nastiest place we have ever been in. There was trash and old food everywhere in the restaurant as well as every trash barrel was overflowing with trash. We also noticed I little cut out room behind the counter where a young girl was cleaning off a stack of trays that had food and trash on them,. what was nasty was that she had cleaned of the whole stack with the same nasty rag and a spray bottle with some kind of yellow liquid in it. Not once did she rinse out the rag. What was really disgusting is she had had hair extensions that when down past her butt and they where rubbing/dragging all across the trays before during and after she was handling them.To make things worse was after she was done she came back out and started handling customers food. Not once did she use gloves or wash her hands. We noticed that there also was a overflowing trash barrel next to where the cup holder was and the trash was on and behind the cups. The service was slow and all of the customers orders before and after us where wrong. Our order was correct but it took over 20 minutes to get a simple order of nuggets and fries. This visit was very disappointing because we wanted to see how the restaurant looked like after the remodel but sadly it was over shadowed by the cleanliness issues and slow service. Not to mention the manger was oblivious to what was going on in her restaurant and was to busy feeding money into some kind of machine/vault/safe whatever it was to check at least once to see what was going on in the front of the house or the dirty trash overflowing over the cups the we drink out of. This Wendy's location is terrible! Today I went inside to order a meal and eat it on the dinner, bad call. First of all the location is DISGUSTING, yes with capital letters, Soda machines broken, Ice spilled all over the floor which eventually melts and leaves water everywhere, tables dirty, and the trash bills completely full. I wish that was the only bad part of this location, but the workers make it even worse. This young cashier was giving out the food for the dinner, once it was my order she gave me a bag which then I notified her saying I was eating in and needed a tray, get ready for the next part cause it will make your blood boil, she then reached in the bag with her bare hands and started to grab all the food, she grabbed the nuggets with her BARE HANDS one by one, yes her disgusting hands which she was just touching money was now touching my nuggets. First I will say that the staff is very friendly but unfortunately that is where the praise ends. The last two times I've been here I ordered my sandwich with NO MAYO however the only condiment on my sandwich was mayo and a lot of it. It took about 10 minutes to get my food and I was the only customer in the store. Find another Wendy's or go to McDonald's/Burger King in the same area. read more
