This last time, I needed to get a document notarized and when I got to the branch, they told me that I had to have an appointment to get anything notarized. In the past, I used to walk in and get one of the notary publics to notarize anything on the spot....I guess the bring down the cost of doing business, they are not paying for all manager and bankers to get a notary public certification. That was annoying. I went to another financial institution that I do business with and got my document notarized on the spot.
