Had an absolutely infuriating experience at this branch this morning. I realize my timing happened to be bad, which is why I sat waiting in the lobby for a banker to speak to for 45 minutes. (I didn't know you could make an appointment, now I do.) When I was finally "helped", I was told my email address is invalid. The email address that I've been using with their service for the past TWENTY YEARS. There's no way it's "invalid," as I got an email from WF not three days ago. Something was clearly broken on their end in their IT department. (Originally I attempted to conduct my business online via their website, but it was non-functional, so I tried the mobile version, which was also non-functional, so I had no options but to go in-person, which was WHY I was even here in the first place.) Max asked me for a different email, but I don't want to confuse my accounts or their system any worse than it already is, so I declined. He said it was "necessary" and I asked why, and he said "to send an electronic consent." WTF? I'm literally sitting in your branch in the flesh with my government ID and I can't VERBALLY consent? Are you for reals?? At a loss, Max picked up the phone to dial into some other Wells Fargo helpline. I had to repeat all my private info over the phone in public to this schmuck, who then proceeded to INTERROGATE me about how much/how long/how I planned to use the funds. He would not proceed without this detailed information. Extremely rude! Finally I was allowed to consent verbally, and I was given a couple of figures/rates. This is literally all I wanted. Just some real numbers so I could make an informed decision about my banking needs. Is that so much to ask?? These f*ckers made it difficult, insulting, and wasted over an hour of my time. If I could give a zero I would. We are moving our 25 years of business from Wells Fargo and going to a small local bank. I waited 35 minutes in line. They only had 2 at counter. Manager could have stepped in early to help but didn't. Here is the kicker, after all that time I got to counter to buy Euros for our overseas trip. At the end of the transaction he tells me that I will get them in three days! They don't carry Euros anymore! Good by Wells. Never returning. read more

This bank is the worse. The last three times I've been there I've had to wait in line for 20-30 minutes. They have a line out the door and three tellers working. It's ridiculous! It also takes them a long time to help customers. Don't go there! read more

I have had nothing but exceptional service at this branch. Whether we're talking about how they helped when my parents lost their safe-deposit box key to ensuring money was available immediately after a large deposit, they've done their best to assist. I don't even live here, but when I walk in after being away for 6 months, they remember me & greet me like an old friend. read more

Wells Fargo Bank - Banks & Credit Unions Near Me - Eagan, Minnesota

Been there to open a small business checking account a couple of weeks back. Service was so bad that I'd to wait for more than 90 minutes, agent (Mansi Loya) did not have clarity on how business accounts were handled and was taking instructions from someone on the phone. I've been banking with Wells Fargo since 1997 and do have an other business checking account (both with good available amounts). I did get free checks when I opened or requested the agent, but here it was a different game. Agent did not have power to offer free checks and calls the Manager Mohammed Zaza who said he would need permission of the CEO to get free checks. Looks like a bunch of good for nothing people at this branch wasting one's time. Never faced such bad experience. It was awful !! Please avoid this place!!!! read more

Megan Laberge really turned a crummy situation into a happy one. The ATM had eaten my tips from the weekend and for a Monday had me a little rattled. She was able to not only set up a claim for me but get my account switched to a more appropriate service where I was not charged a $5 monthly service fee. Let me save you from a headache....If you're thinking of going to this branch, don't! This is the worst branch I've ever been to. They don't have a set of rules that they follow to. One manager says it's okay to deposit cash to a nonprofit organization account even if I'm not on the account, but the other day I met this unpleasant manager telling the teller not to accept the cash deposit from me. I've done it so many times before, depositing cash donations in to a church account, but now they are making it impossible to do business with them. I'll be moving my personal account to different bank soon and talking with the church leaders to do the same. Well Fargo is too greedy to learn from their mistakes and serve the public. read more

Great customer service and staff, however, the policies and fees of the retail banking for WF requires you to pay for many services you can get for free from other banks. Wells Fargo lines move fast! The tellers are friendly and helpful. If I have a question they cannot answer, a banker is there to assist almost immediately. The tellers are a little too chatty, they are always asking about what I am going to to do the rest of my day. I gave a five because I could not ask for anything more. The only downside is always having to take a right when leaving the parking lot. read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS BRANCH. The staff aren't the main problem, the manager is - I believe his name is Adam Strong...(more like Adam WEAK). It feels like the employees are walking on eggshells in there. Another problem is that this branch states that it's fully staffed when it is CLEARLY understaffed by far. There are empty desks everywhere, but there are always lines and even people waiting on the floor to see bankers because there aren't any chairs or waiting areas left. The bankers and tellers have great customer service for the most part, it's the manager and his lack of supportive managing that causes the biggest issue from the employee to customer front. You can tell that most of these people are unhappy with their jobs. This branch could well use an overhaul of management. read more

Theres over 10 staff here and only 2 of them are working . There is only 2 tellers working and the other staff are literally chit chatting soo Wells Fargo stop paying people to come and have fun and chit chat here. People are paying you feed for a reason so do your job and put a better manager on board. read more

Go to a smaller bank that actually cares about customers. I have banked with Wells Fargo for roughly 20 years, until very recently they had fantastic customer service. I was actually yelled at by an employee because he did not appreciate my attitude and frustration when trying to resolve an issue with my accounts. My main problem was that they changed the requirements for my accounts to be "free" accounts and then started charging me a monthly service fee. When I discussed this with the phone bank, they told me I had to go and see the bank manager to resolve the issues. The problem was that I did not have a debit card hooked up to one of my accounts. They corrected the issue by giving me a debit card which I have no use for and I must now use one every six months and they refunded a few of the service fees. I became upset when they told me that they could not refund all of the service fees because their computer system lacked that ability. A large gentleman who was obviously trying to intimidate me actually yelled at me and looked like he was ready to bite my head off. When time permits, I will be looking for a new bank that can treat me with respect to move my accounts to. UPDATE: After speaking to 3 people over the phone and finally being told to visit my local branch and after speaking to several different people at my local branch who called themselves the "manager" and after my yelling match I called my local branch and was immediately apologized to after I explained how upset I was at being yelled at. They did refund the roughly $200 in fees they had charged me. I am still upset at how much work it was to get them to refund these nonsense fees. I think it is ridiculous that I had to deal with 5 or 6 people, visit the local branch, and then the final resolution comes via telephone. Its to bad Wells Fargo doesn't get its act together and eliminate all of this BS and just have good customer service in the first place. read more

We use several banks and credit unions, to make the most of the services we want for the least fees charged. What is different about Wells Fargo, at least this branch, is that I like to go inside to conduct my business in-person. It's a really friendly environment, and reminds me of the small-town bank I used to go to with my folks when I was a child. read more

The bank tellers are usually quite nice and friendly, but it seems I was met with a teller who wasn't very happy to see me. Her name started with an A, I can't remember but good luck to anyone who is serviced by her. Prepare for eyerolls and other forms of "get out of my face" expressions. read more
