With locally sourced ingredients, Dave was able to put together one of the most delicious meals I've ever tasted in my life. Not only is Dave's cooking unreal, he is so kind, helpful and passionate about what he does. Working with him was the absolute best thing I could've asked for and I am so grateful to be connected with him. We worked together to come up with the perfect menu for our event, Chef Andrew was able to accommodate all of our requests. On the day of the dinner Chef Andrew showed up on time and ready to go and put together a phenomenal four course meal for us. Each course seemed better than the last and we loved that the chef told us about each dish as they served them to us. Chef Andrew had a helper that was very attentive and kept our waters and wines full for the whole meal. Appetizer, a pork gyoza to die for, salad of tomatoes and this red pepper sauce that I will remember for years to come was only transcended by the wagyu beef entree with a carrot puree. Desert of mango ice cream was the perfect ending for an amazing meal. And after it was all said and done, they had done all of the dishes and left the kitchen cleaner than how it started! Give Chef Andrew and the Sandy's Supper Club a try and it will truly be a night to remember.

He was very respectful of the property we rented, including wearing gloves for sanitizing, and cleaning up after himself, including running the dishwasher at the end. While cooking, he shared many beautiful stories about the island and his adventures, was able to provide recommendations, and is very knowledgeable about Kauai. The evening was more than just great food, but true entertainment as well which we really enjoyed. Our toddler really enjoyed interacting with him as well. We customized our menu in advance and everything came out perfect! Surf and turf, seafood paella, shrimp spring rolls, bruschetta, salad, and amazing assortment of desserts. I loved that absolutely everything was locally grown, and bought from local stores. I can't say enough good things about this experience. My husband found them on-line and from the moment of initial contact, Carla was amazing to work with. Our wedding was a destination wedding with the reception in the backyard of a large house that our family rented. We had about 24 guests including us, which seemed like a lot for a destination wedding. We had a wedding 'coordinator' to help us with the planning but to be honest, she wasn't great. Carla offered suggestions and per positive and joyful demeanor was such a pleasure to work with. The food.... This was to die for. Chef Eric is truly talented and the passion for what he does is reflected in his cooking. They came into the house, worked in the smaller kitchen, and kept bringing out food that was delicious. It has been over 6 months since our wedding and our guests still talk about how wonderful the food was. My mother in law, the one that rented the house, also still talks about how they came in, cooked, cleaned up and left and you never would have known someone was working in the kitchen. We had appetizers, salads, finger foods, small main dishes and a cupcake tower all by Chef Eric. Chef Eric and Carla are locals and community helpers. There was plenty of food left over from our reception and instead of throwing it away, they donated the food to a local charity which I was very touched by. If there is any question as to whether to book them, do it. You will be just as amazed as my husband and I were.
