Upon my decision to get the help I needed, I called the center and was connected with a kind woman, Kat, who coordinated my arrival to treatment for services. She was very helpful and attentive to everything I has to say. She also shared with me her experience of addiction into recovery , which began in treatment. Most of the staff at Rehabilitation Treatment Care Center had been through a treatment program and were in recovery from addiction as well. Knowing with certainty that these professional and medical staff understood what I was going through, not only physically but emotionally and mentally, helped me feel accepted and relaxed. Although, I have been to a few good treatment centers, I have never experienced the degree of acceptance, safety and stability that I did here. Two weeks later I arrived at my appointment. All went well until I mentioned to Dr Walton that I was on Medicare. Then he explained that the physicians don't accept Medicare. I was speechless. I can't move forward without insurance coverage. When I left, they charged me for the visit. Again, I was shocked and honestly mad. They had 2 weeks to inform me of this information. But they chose to have me come to their office so that they could charge me for the visit! Even if I choose to pay a physician, it will not be WeightWise. They were not honest with me up front.

Following an automobile accident, we used Broadway Clinic to help. I had heard from other doctors…read morethat they often perform services which are NOT needed to run up the bill for insurance. I'm not 100% sure that happened here. BUT, I can say I received a bill along with a medical lien from Broadway Clinic. I ASSUMED that was the full bill for their services/treatment. I ended up finishing treatment at another doctor and left Broadway Clinic. I ended up settling the insurance claim based upon the bills they sent to my house (along with the liens). Much to my surprise, TWO YEARS AFTER the insurance settlement, I received a bill for OVER $3000 for services from Midtown Imaging (two MRIs which were done on the same day). I discovered this was basically another name for Broadway Clinic. They WAITED TWO YEARS to send me a bill and surprised me. I ended up having to pay the bill out of pocket because the insurance claim had already been settled. There was NO EXPLANATION why they waited TWO YEARS. BE VERY CAREFUL WITH BILLING PRACTICES FROM THIS PLACE!
