I came in with a history of awful knee injuries, multiple surgeries followed by iffy recoveries, and little to no faith in the muscles in my lower body. In less than 12 months I've gone from constantly worrying about those shaky knees to feeling real confidence in my movements. Doubling my PRs has just been an added perk... Ashlee has been awesome in creating tailored programs for me and what I need. Just as important, she fosters a welcoming and encouraging environment in the group training sessions that make them more enjoyable than they have any business being. If you want help with nutrition, she's got you. If you want suggestions for good obscure metal bands, she's got you there too. When you look at my Yelp history, you'll notice that I've only ever reviewed moving companies. Couldn't be happier that my first non-moving related assessment is ReDefineRVA and Ashlee. Although another trainer was later assigned to cover the missed sessions, I requested that all future personal training sessions be canceled in accordance with the contract. Despite this, Crunch continued to withdraw funds from my account for personal training services through August 2025, even though no training was provided. I have been requesting a refund since August 2025, and as of January 2026, I have not received it. If this matter is not resolved promptly, my next step will be to pursue this issue in small claims court.

I have weak wrists from years of doing gymnastics, so it's hard for me to do exercises where my full body weight is on my wrist.
