I recently went to Wellby to get their help to stop a fraudulent withdrawal of a total of $2,000 from my account by American Debt Relief/Global. The fraud report was written with inaccurate information so I refused to attest to such false facts with my signature. I have a copy of the signed false documents but the manager said he did not believe me. I received a letter today denying my claim. I closed my checking account as a result. I am going to send to my claim to regulatory entities that investigate fraud. read more

The few times before that I've used this branch, they've been friendly and mostly helpful, but my latest visit was really bad service for JSCFCU. It was the unfriendliest that a JSC employee has ever been to us. I went to buy checks. When the teller came up to the desk, he didn't smile and asked very monotone what I needed. I said I needed checks and handed him my ID and debit card. He told me checks come 100 to an order for $28 and took seven days. When I asked why they'd changed because previously I'd gotten twelve printed the same day, he said that was an option as well--so quiet that I could barely hear him. So I asked for those. He took my ID and debit card and left. A rough start, but I thought maybe the guy was having an off day or forgot about same-day checks. He came back and handed me my cards. He asked which checking account I wanted the checks for and I said my personal one. He stared at me without a response so I gave him the account number, to which he said, "I wasn't sure because you have a personal and a business account." So I repeated the information again, trying to understand how he was confused. He left without a word and came back several minutes later with the checks. He handed them to me and asked if I needed anything else. When I said no and thanked him, he just turned and walked off. When I walked out, the security guard wished me a good day--none of the tellers did. Management at this branch needs to assess their tellers. I could barely hear this guy because he refused to speak loud enough for me to hear, he never smiled, made no attempt to be friendly, and tried to complicate the situation of just needing checks. If JSC is moving this direction, we might rethink where we bank. read more

JSCFCU has become terrible ever since becoming Wellby. I thought it was just going to be a name change and took no issue with it initially. But then they "lost" my wife's paycheck in the drive through and then proceeded to gaslight her about her ever having sent it in. It took her 2 hours of arguing with them about the fact she gave it to them before they mysteriously found the check. Then on a separate occasion, they mysteriously "lost" $500 in cash that we put into the account. Took a while before that got rectified, too. Today, we got a call from the fraud department because someone stole my wife's debit card to buy an Amazon Prime membership. Wasn't ours. The last time my wife used the card for anything but paying bills (e.g., electricity, water, HOA), was a month ago. The Wellby call center guy told us it was our fault and that we would have to handle it with Amazon. But it's not our Prime account, and they won't give us details on someone else's Prime (which I understand because everyone wants their privacy - can't have people lying to spy on people). "Nope," he said, they're not going to freeze the account or do anything about it. We asked to speak with his supervisor, and he went silent for 7 minutes. He never responded at all. We called again, and another Wellby representative tells us they can cancel the card but can't freeze that purchase or the account. So where is the justice here? Someone just robbed my wife and me of $150 of our hard-earned money. And Wellby won't do anything about it. If I didn't have an auto loan through them, I would take my money and leave. I will ASAP. Anyone thinking about banking here: Don't. I like FCU's better than banks, but this one drops the ball so much. We take our money seriously and will be banking with Gulf Coast Educators or Shell FCU, because Wellby doesn't care about its members or our money. read more

The only reason I have a saving accounts with this branch is it's easily convenient. Friday evening before closing, I stopped by to withdrawal some money at the window, the woman employee at tier #1 looked SO bothered by my request of resending their pen because I initially couldn't reach it. From that moment on, she continued to show no customer empathy or genuine customer service during my time there. Based off other customer who use JSC....I'm not surprised by my drawback as well. It seems that no matter when I come, it seems to take forever to get through the process. Today I was just depositing the check kitty no cashback pulled up to the window in my car and after waiting for some time I looked at my phone call that I had just hung up when I drove up to the window and it has been 10 min. I was very sure to include my drivers license right information on the back of my check and fill out the posit to expedite the process so I wasn't sure what the hold up to possibly see. When I asked if there was some kind of problem, she responded no ma'am she was just helping other people. When I drove up, there was only 2 other vehicles in the lanes and they were long gone. Last week when I came inside, again I was depositing a check with no cash back and gave them $20.50 for a roll of quarters, roll of penny's, and 2 fives. This time there was no one at any of the tellers and again I was there for at least 10 min. The teller had to be brand new because there was a gentleman standing beside her. She did not understand the process as far as money in money out. He kept asking her what I gave (which he knew) and what she is giving back. She was confused I guess because he had to get the roll of quarters from another drawer. While I am all for teaching newbies and assisting after about 4 minutes I would have fathered he just stepped in and gave me my 2 5's roll of quarters and pennies. I hated to interrupt because I did not want to stress the newbie but I don't think this was being effective for her. Also as a client, I had things to do. He could have asked me if I minded that he let her work through it or something to that effect. There have been numerous other frustrating moments at this branch but my thoughts are fresh with these. I do not do the majority of my banking here and only keep this account open to have quick access to change etc. based on these experiences I would not let them handle any thing more then this. read more

It is always such a slow process to do anything here...not to mention their ATMs are not up to date...so it's basically impossible to deposit money here before they open at 9am...very inconvenient... read more
