Not only did she stand beside me until i transitioned to my new PCP, she stayed dedicated to my care with the same compassion, respect and kindness to all of her patients. Dr. Rooks guaranteed my prescriptions were refilled, as requested by my local pharmacy. Her staff were on top of my records release request and her nurse Angela would call to let me know. I could check the pharmacy's app on my phone to verify the prescription was going through. Everyone at Tanner Primary Care made the transition as seamless as it could be, knowing I had lost my faith in the healthcare system. They are one of four physicians I trust to attempt to put their patients care first. I respect their commitment and courage. Everyone has the compassion to be able to assist and advocate for their patients. I will miss Dr Rooks. See and the physician who she took my care over from will always be missed.

We called ahead of time and they never mentioned this (or the 45 minute lunch they took at 1pm right before we showed up the first time. Not taking insurance is a HUFE deal and should have been communicated before waiting in line. There are better, cheaper, and faster options elsewhere.

So my Mom called over 20 pharmacies. NONE of them will fill Ivermectin. My only choice was to drive almost two hours to a place in Carrollton GA. They could have told me that before they charged me $80 for the visit. Complete waste of time and money. caveat emptor!!

I pull up in their parking lot at 7:43 only to have the scheduler call me and said they could not see me today!! Since I was a knew patient and not seen them in years. I even ask to see the Assistant Crystal I got nothing but smart#$$ replies! I said im in the parking lot, took off work and drove 18 miles one way and you wait till now to tell me!! Well if you miss a appointment of late they CHARGE YOU for visit, Well they owe me money for gas and time lost from work!
