We arrived 15 minutes early to fill out the necessary initial paperwork. The office is small and can accommodate about 10 people at a time. The office staff was very warm, friendly, and polite. We did not have a long wait, but we were called back 10 minutes after our scheduled appointment time (which is a personal pet peeve of mine) when there was no one there other than us and we arrived early. The nurse was very calm, caring, and understanding. She did her due diligence in asking questions relating to my wife's visit. She seemed to show genuine concern with my wife's issue (a.k.a. good "bed side manner"). The Dr. came in and thoroughly asked many questions relating to my wife's issues, gave what I thought was a complete exam, and patiently answered all of my wife's questions. The Dr. even stated that the issues that we originally thought we had were wrong and explained, in detail, why it was wrong (which I liked). The Dr. himself was very soft spoken. I will say, overall, I really liked this office, the staff, and the doctor. I hope you never need a Rheumatologist, but if you do, I would recommend Dr. Khasnis.

It has been a very long journey, and I have learned that the least amount of medicine is the best. Diet and exercise is the most helpful, even if it hurts. A strong emotional support system is IMPERATIVE! Knowledge is power, The correct diagnosis is the only key to getting help. It is surprising how many women in the age group of 20 to 60 have this . (some men have it too, just fewer) You have to have at least 11 of the 18 trigger points or tender spots on your body to pass the test for diagnosis. * Fibromyalgia &Chronic Myofacial Pain Syndrome A Survival Manual Your Doctor plays a very vital role. If you have a dismissive doctor, FIRE HIM/HER! You are not obligated to keep him! You need a team who will help you find the combination of things that will work for you. He/ She should be willing to dig and rewrite the script until you have it right. He/she should call you in at least every 4 months to review your status. The best book I have found in the Myriad of books on the subject is Fibromyalgia &Chronic Myofacial Pain Syndrome A Survival Manual The website on this review is great. I could check the pharmacy's app on my phone to verify the prescription was going through. Everyone at Tanner Primary Care made the transition as seamless as it could be, knowing I had lost my faith in the healthcare system.
