Sam was involved with a recent tree-trimming project on our property. One of the first things that…read moredrew us to our home were the three massive water oaks that surround the house. From the day we moved in I knew were looking at a sizable bill and a highly technical operation to trim the overhanging limbs from around the house. All three trees were trimmed, with the largest portion coming from the front tree, a 75+ year old water oak. As the pieces stared coming down I was nervous, but from the beginning my confidence grew. The main limb that was brought down was ~70' tall and 24" at its base. There were several limbs that came from the back of the house, the largest of which was 18" at its base and overhung both our house and the neighbors. With thousands of pounds of material coming down we did not have any gutters pulled, no impacts with the roof, it could not have been a more professional job. After the limbs were on the ground they were chopped up, ground and removed quickly. The crew raked and blew our yard, you wouldn't have any clue of the magnitude of work done if it weren't for the clean cuts where the branches originated. I couldn't have asked for a better experience, especially with the highly technical aspects of the job.

They over charged on the trees and poorly laid the sod in my yard. The existing grass does not line up with the newly laid grass. They put down and rock path and didn't line or dig out the area. They just put rocks on top of soil and now they rocks are moving everywhere. I would not recommend them. Beware. I paid a lot of money to still be redoing what they did.

Jonathan did a fabulous job of creating a landscape design that integrated perfectly with our current hardscape (we have a low-lying stone wall in the back). He designed a solution that incorporated another low stone wall and a stone pathway for a two-tier look that is stunning while also accommodating to the grade of the yard. We had many trees removed, Atlanta Tree and Turf were terrific, the yard was re-graded, turf laid and hardscape installed perfectly. Everyone involved with our project was courteous, professional and talented. In short, we couldn't be happier. It's good to know that there are still craftspeople out there who do what they say and deliver in spades! Use Heavenly Designs Landscapes, and Atlanta Tree and Turf.

They park on a curve and at the direct end of a neighbors driveway making it hard to get out of the driveway and drive safely around. When asked directly if they would consider backing up to not block others and get away from the curve, "we will think about it" was the reply with a smirk on their faces. They then proceeded to unload the truck and proceed. I was just looking out for the safety of their truck and the drivers in that area. I felt this was disrespectful and would never suggest this company if you live in a neighborhood with narrow streets.
